Who is right?

I will have to agree with the IT czars on this one. H D Deve Gowda is one of the most useles people to ever walk this earth. The onely memorable thing that he did during his tenure as PM of a great country was sleep when the parliament was in session. If it were not for the IT industry, Bangalore would not have been on the world map, and would have remained a pensioner's paradise as was its sobriquet before 1990.The politicians in gharge should stop fighting and actually own up to the reponsibility of stting right the crumbling infrastructure of this could-be-great city. I was in Bangalore 1.5 years ago and the traffic and the roads were atrocious then. I can only imagine what condition they must be in now. Instead of taking multi-crore kickbacks for granting permission to build helter skelter, the politicians supposedly in-charge should take into consideration that no great city will survive the lack of infrastructure no matter what the other attractions are. Mr. Gowda should just shut up and let the people who are actually propelling the economy talk and listen and listen well. Something drastic needs done about Bangalore before it is too late.

Gowda or Murthy
by Amit on Oct 27, 2005 03:59 PM

Murthy is a visionary who not only brought glory to Bangalore but also to entire nation. Politicians should respect such business leaders instead of accusing them. Mr. Dave Gowda should not look at his political gains while accusing Mr. Mutry. He is doing a blunder for which he will be penalised by voters of Karnataka. He must focus his energies on those actions which lead to real development of the state that on issues which could get him cheap political milage.

Murthy

I feel Mr Murthy has done some good things for B'lore. But being at that post we cant expect him to really invlove in all the activities that should suppose to carry out by Chariman of Bangalore International Airport Ltd.

I feel both are right at their places.

regards,
Pash

Politician's always make things worse...all they need is the vote. More then focusing on the Infrastructure problems he is concerned about his party. According to him "IT companies are trying to de-stablize his coilation party".

Blore is going to dogs
by Sunil on Oct 27, 2005 02:45 PM

Blore city is going to dogs. People like Gowda want to hog the limelight even if they havent much to do or say. S.M.Krishna had got Blore back to to the world-IT map with lots of proactive work. All this is been undone by his successors. Very poor show by the current bunch of people at the top.

Gowda vs Murthy
by pramod on Oct 27, 2005 02:31 PM

I think Mr. Murthy has acted in haste. There was no need for Mr. Murthy to react this way on remarks from a nobody Mr. Gowda, who is playing just politics. E'one knows he has been a fumble harmer all along.

Mr Murthy is right.
What Mr Gowda is saying wrong.
About infrastructure let gowda take round of bangalore then he will come to what developement he and his collalition Government done it improve.

Mr Gowda is just interested in his publicity by using cheap politics , he is not interest in development of bangalore or karnataka.

Let him explain what he did to karnataka when he was PM and CM.

Sanjeev
