N Murthy is not totally clean either
by bh on Oct 23, 2005 11:18 PM

Come and see the campus in Mysore.
The land bought is on either side of a public road and Infosys has internalised the road and made it into one big campus. Even today, the road from both sides end in a hugh wall of the campus.
How good is that?
Obviously somebody has "sold" it to them, but I am sure N Murthy knows it is wrong.

Mr Gowda is concerned about foreign companies.
by Ravi Kumar on Oct 23, 2005 08:46 PM

The companies for whom former PM (We all know he became PM by Chance) are IBM,Accenture,HP and Intel all American companies facing tough competition from Infosys. His all of a sudden concern for these companies clearly indiacates lobbying at the higher political and business level. At the same time the clarification given by Infosys does give details about the lands and their use and no of employment generated, it does not give any details as to what was done by Infosys for BIAL?

I can't believe the same person that pretty much did absolutely nothing for our country when he was in a position to do so (thank God it was for no more than ten wasted months: PM from Jun-96 through Apr-97,) but was instead travelling around on international junkets, now has the audacity to spew such idiotic crap about someone that is truly doing good and is a much more valued son of India than that rat gowda could ever hope to be!

Same old ''India'' story
by Manish on Oct 23, 2005 06:29 PM

he who works, is proven to be a villain, he who is corrupt projects himself as a hero, and most importantly, the indian janata, will still keep electing these "LEADERS". So, its well said "Indians did well in IT, but India didnt!!".

Who Deve Goda?
by Kmiuc on Oct 23, 2005 04:22 PM

Well to be very fare our politicians can go to any extent in getting some kind of publicity. Look at India some 15 years back. I still remember when I joined by engineering college (one of the REC) with Computer Science branch and things were worse. How many jobs were there? I only possibility was to sit for some government conducted exams (most of which were not having conputer science as a preferred subject). Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Satyam are generating employment. Can government generate jobs of this kind? DG did nothing except from sleepiong when he was the PM of India. Now he is saying all these things just to gain some cheap publicity. Can DG make his wealth public? Problem is we just cannot ignore him as everyone has some self respect. DG is one pain for our nation and this is seriously an anti-nation activity. I think people of Bangalore should teach him a lesson. What is he trying to prove? Has he got any personality? He became PM just by luck. DG I can't even say you to grow up as it is too late. But for god sake think twice befor making a statement like this.
