infy vs gowda
by ajay on Oct 28, 2005 03:21 AM

hey! hey! look who is talking. These politicians are good for nothing. Mr Gowda should act sensibly and constrain from making comments as if he is talking in an election rally at Hassan or Chikmagloor !

devegowda's blunder
by bharatram on Oct 27, 2005 11:36 AM

India's latest scourge has been its contractor turned politicians. They can never understand the psyche of an entrepreneur and the value of entrepreneurship. The sheer value of the products and the consequent addition to the global image of a country is beyond the comprehension of a politician like devegowda. Mr.Murthy has created social wealth, unlike devegowda's personal wealth. In that view of the matter Mr.Narayana Murthy's reaction is justified and I honestly feel karnataka's loss is going to be A.P's gain.

Gowda and Ignorance are Synonyms
by Milo on Oct 27, 2005 10:20 AM

the comments made by Gowda only reveals his ignorance....what comments has he made on a person of the calibre of Mayaran Murthy are surely not acceptable.
He stated that IT employees need to be accountable towards their FAT SALARIES...are politicians accountable?
Was Gowda accountable?
He(Gowda) is indulging is cheap policits which will discourage people like Narayan Murthy.
Shame be bestowed to such individuals.

Take it cool.
by Rupesh on Oct 26, 2005 05:12 PM

Everybody knows what infy has done for the Bangalore or Karnataka, I feel Gowda is just trying to benefit politically out of this and infy shouldn't take it otherwise.
But i feel, Infy should seriously consider expanding in other states as well which will make politicians like Gowda think before they just make public statements.

Why give importance to Gowda?
by V Sunder on Oct 26, 2005 04:03 PM

What Gowda is doing is nothing but politics and never understand the India's power in IT and position of Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc, at global level and also creating so much of employment opportunities. Our own politicians are our enemies and the point that India is developing inspite of our politicians, just because of people like Murthy's. And now we want to drive them out of Karnataka and many more states are inviting him with red carpet. Loss to Karnataka and gain for other states, no surprises.

Mr.Narayan Murthy Vs. Devagowda
by vara prasad vv on Oct 26, 2005 03:49 PM

It is very simple let Mr.Devagowda list what he has done to 1) The country 2) Karnataka and 3) At least to the place where he belongs to. In my opinion it is Mr.JRD TATA to Indian industry and Mr.Murthy to IT industry in India. Mr.Murthy to be given Bharat Ratna in recognition of his contribution not only to IT but also to humanity and INDIA. It is like when an elephant passes.........

Mr Murthy is right
by Vidya on Oct 26, 2005 01:57 PM

Its the dirty and filthy politics out in the open and who else but Deve Gowda can play it all very well. A man of Mr Murthy's stature can stoop to Deve Gowda's level and being a dignified and honored citizen of the country has done the right thing by resigning . This airport project is being talked about for over a decade and now it looks like mission impossible

Moorthy's Resignation is fine
by Arvin on Oct 26, 2005 01:41 PM

While we are all talking about Deva Gowda's irresposible statements, lets not forget that nothing much has also progressed as far as Bangalore's international Airport is concerned. Moorthy being the chairman is certainly answerable to the delay caused. Instead of taking on Gowda's statements he simply resigned. what does that mean? He had proved to be failure as a chairman of BIAL.
