deve gowdas remarks on Infosys and Narayamurthy's figures
by chandrasekar on Oct 22, 2005 12:03 PM  | Hide replies

If possible pl send this message to Mr Narayamurthy.
I think what Former prime minister Devwgowda has said is correct.

Yhough Infy has given the No's they are all highly skilled workers and are compensated for their work and nothing more.

But what has Infosys done for the rural poor and underpreveliged society of India

Can Mr Narayamurthy give the figures for the socila cause and under previliged gained out od Infosys.

Only the directors and emp bank accounts are filled up and nothing has been done to the state improvement for which they have got a lot of tax concessions.

Mr NarayanaMurthy is of course a Good Person and he should think of giving more to his state by improving infrastructure and giving more emp opportunities for underpreviliged.

Pl send this message to Mr gowda and Mr NMR.

Thanks
Chandrasekar.S

Land to be given to Infosys??
by ANIL K NAIR on Oct 22, 2005 11:58 AM

Infosys has made good investments in bangalore when compared to other cities. The revenue generated and employment given are also high in this city. So I don't mind there is any problem giving land to Infosys in Karnataka state. The only thing which I would suggest is that they have to utilise their land completely. They should not simply acquire lands to show others that their campuses are very big when compared to other companies. They might have funds to purchase acres of lands in every part of the country. But this does not mean that they can simply waste land to show that their campuses are very big.
They and the government should ensure that if they purchase some acres of land, they should utilse it to almost 100%. About 85% should be fully occupied with buildings and the remaining can be used for land scaping or other activities. The result is that they should utilise it 100%.

The above are my personal comments..

The Great Deve Gowda.

A former PM should be responsible in his comments. Can we have a look at Mr Gowda's achievements when he was the PM/CM, that is when he was not yawning and sleeping in the parliament?

Infy's investments in Karnataka

It makes me both sad and proud at Shri Narayan Moorthy's resignation. This should serve as a slap int the face of politicians who are so shameless that even when it is evident that they are guilty as hell of cheating and looting the public money, they not only do not resign, they insist that they have done no wrong. I think now it is up to the media to actually and physically hound such politicians out of public life. In this case the media should pursue the matter and ask Deve Gouda for his comments with regard to the clarification given by Infosys. He should not be allowed to get away with evasive replies and denials. He should be forced either to give a public and signed apology to Shri Moorthy or to retire permanently from public life. In fact, such persons should be publicly humiliated when they attend functions so that they realise that the public cannot be taken for granted anymore. For the media to take a leading role in such cases, the media itself should keep itself beyond suspicion and should not resort to sensationalism. Rediff, we look to you to take some initiative in this regard. Prove to us that you are different and that you have the nation's intersts at heart.

Infys's Investment. Narayan Murthy's reaction to Deve Gowda
by Dinesh Vijapurkar on Oct 22, 2005 11:13 AM

I think Mr. Narayan Murthy is over reacting to one of the most Rediculous politicians India ever produced. Dewe Gowda is at best an apology.

what has he done as a Political leader. Became Prime Minister and lacked Political acumen, first in accepting a job for which he neither had the skill and ability nor the required political backing for the numbers required to stay on as a Prime Minister

If Narayan Murthy reacts to his statements, it is a compltement to Dewe. He does not deserve it.

He should go on with his good work and not bother about Politicians like him.

Let Dewe Gowda do a 1% of work what Infosys has done starting from Scratch instaed of playing pretty poticals and getting busy in promoting his son and harassing his own party's Government(as a JV Partner).

After all his party is involved in all the Government approvals

Go on Do the good deeds yuo have started Mr. Murthy
