Waste of time

It's a waste of time reading this article. It would have been better if the parents of this author had this idea and didn't give birth to the author.

Why are you so intolerant of other people's views? It's not like you are being forced to follow any of it. That intolerance like yours thrive in this world is another excellent reason not to bring children into this world!

child provide vital glue in marriage. otherwise husband wife start drifting apart slowly. sure kid takes your time and money. but what you want to do with your money, eat it?
kid also provide soemthing intangible in life which one cannot quite put finger on.

hopeless article
by harish sowkur on Sep 12, 2014 09:12 PM

I wish author's parents had thought the same way..today I wouldn't have read this article..such a selfishly written article...

do not compare child with money..as investment..your parents spent on you..you have to spend on your kid..thats all...or else give back your money earned to your parents who spent on you for 20 years..they never asked you money back right? They were responsible for your upbringing..now do your duty on your kid..

Who would you depend on when u r old? what if you are bed ridden? who will feed u? will u depend on old age home or personal care takers? that will be more costlier than spending on your kid..

another pov

i think a near valid reason for not having a child or may b not marrying at all would be u r 100% dedicated to ur career or business n know that u will not b able to give proper justice to their emotions, give time which eventually is not good for the children and the family is broken. so if one understands himself so well n doesnt want to spild others life also then i think its a good descision. but im slightly ambiguous about this also.

sad

Sad that such reasons are mentioned above.
Its times like these when i read such articles i feel that the moral goons who vandalise media offices are right. yes, u have the right to discuss anything n everything, but this...u were/are a child to someone, its a natures law, u can discuss if to have more than one but not at all?!!...u reach a point in life where u do feel if u had one, im teling u this bcos i know people who after losing their partner or bcos of not marrying at all r lonely n miserable now. they have lacs or even crores of savings rt now but are lonely now and say they will be donating the money cos they dont have energy to spend it on travel also and travel with whom?.there is no guarantee how ur child may turn upto - hitler, osama or bill gates, mother teresa or no guarantee if they will take care of u, may be u will despise them afterwards for their behaviour towards u but then wat 'GUARANTEE' does life give us at any stage?....one might say i'm the happiest man that im a pilot cos that is wat i wanted to be earning lacs per month in my 30's" but then the plane crashed...no guarantee...remember there r curses disguised as boon in our lives but its all about taking chances, isnt that life is all about? the above article is sad and a demotivator for a beautiful gift called LIFE!

I'm not showing intolerance. There is nothing violent or angry in my reply. In contrast, you are advocating violence on media offices - that is what shows your intolerance. I'm confused by people like you who want to force your beliefs on other people at the risk of harm.
