I could have saved my life and dreams had you posted this article 4 years before. I was half convinced this idea and now became fully convinced after reading the reasons.
Its only a next generation which takes care of the old generation. Therefore giving birth and to grow them as very good human beings is must though it is financial burden for poor parents. We all give birth to next generation for purpose. Only animals given birth without any purpose.
Only in our country we had this principle of having family and kid. But as the author says we are moving towards it. Most of us are becoming mechanical and each one of us has a choice well to have or not to have. Good article, but would be ciriticised for this hard fact. Next gen is going to be like this.
Having a child is all about "living for a purpose". It teaches a lots of life lessons which otherwise one would not learn. If you can answer at one point in life "who am I living for? only for myself?" then it is okay....

Believe me, I had so many purpose in my life.. now I am almost forced to have only one purpose i.e. raising my son. I regret but gave up all my dreams and aspirations.
