pros and cons

There are many pros and cons in this matter. But the worry I have is what happens to a child in this world. I refer to gang rapes, serial murders etc. Having a child is wonderful but worrying about his/her future is another thing. How much protection can one give to your child. So I would say, have a child if you can afford to give him/her a good upbringing or else don't have them. Don't expect anything in return.

I can say only one thing about this article... If your parents thought the same, you couldn't have write this... Money is not everything... To know the value of real life, you have to go through different stages...

And to know the value of life you dont have to give birth to a child. You can even adopt a child, specially where there are so many orphan children around who need help.

Adopting a child is another mode of inflicting torture on your soul. Ideally one can support poor kids (one or two at a time) get good food, education along with the required books, attire, sports equipment etc. If they progress well in life, and remember to call on you from time to time out of sheer love and gratitude, you can surely think it is an investment well made in human bonding. If they don't, they don't; you will have learnt the hard way life's like that.

Please try to compare within compatibility. If you think everything like your father this world would not get the the present shape. In old age or may be few generation before of you people did not adopt family planning but why today all of us are thinking only for one child? why not childless also?

You are being unfair. Writer has the freedom to express his views, and some of the reasons are definitely
worth serious thinking.
