It may have been intended to be 18 but for an opposition whose only agenda is to oppose anything ,the age was shown as 16 so that they can oppose it and get it raised and claim a victory

Government has no business in moral policing the citizens. Government's job is to "protect" and NOT "police" the lives of the citizens!

There are 2 things which are important: RIGHTS and RESPONSIBILITIES. Western systems run on only RIGHTS OF INDIVIDUALS completely throwing RESPONSIBILITIES of INDIVIDUALS out of the window. This is why the "Western societies have been NATIONALIZED and the NATION (government) has been PRIVATIZED" thus throwing the Western models into a topsy turvy from which they will never ever recover!
Whereas, the Indian system ofDharma is the only one which encompasses both RIGHTS as well as RESPONSIBILITIES!! Afterall, the wordDharma means both RIGHTS as well as RESPONSIBILITIES!
one fine day in bangalore, was having a stroll on the road. was schocked to see two young ladies, with the shrtest trousers possible and with half top less posture walking on the roads screaming at passers by and squatting on the roads and creating nuisance to the households. it drew their attention on some casual labourers who were tempted to respond to their behaviour but restrained seeing some fellow passers by like me. had something happened to those girls, who would have been made accountable?
