Computer Education

What is so shocking about this? Unethical "Education Entrepreneurs" - a species with which India has been blessed in abundance - latched onto the "trend" for Computer Science courses. Tens of thousands of Courses in Bachelor of Computer Applications and Information Technology and even Master's in Computer Applications and Information Technology have been initiated at thousands of Institutes and Distance Education Centres in India. The "graduates" of these courses are barely literate in English or their Regional Language leave alone Computer Hardware or Software. I know since I worked as the Head of one such Institution for three years where I struggled to bring about quality improvement and then quit in disgust.

I Found lot of positive things though,as depicted in this survey
by kallol paul on Mar 01, 2012 03:46 AM  | Hide replies

1) Even if you are not fit in for job (2.68 percent) of IT Product u have more than 15 times chances of job in BPO ( which employs 40.69 percent).

2)Now Those even who cannot be employed by the IT sector will fit in other prevalent activities of the economy like Business, teaching, retail, advertisement, core manufacturing, foreign jobs, Ngos etc.

3) Even though who do not fit in the above schemes will become a part of Govt say a From a panchayat member to MLA , MP , IAS, PRESIDENT , PRIMEMINISTER etc. This ruling/system based class includes the likes of ANNA Hazare and arvind kejriwal.

4) Apart from this top 3 classes lies one more who play mixed roles as the likes of Baba Ramdevs who is part time yogi,do business and promote yog and medicines too.People such as contractors at panchayat level who also takes up roles of party cadres may come in this multi talented class.

5)Farming class and workers who hardly can read these nonproductive comments, the great non english bhartiya.

6)Then comes famous Media people jounalist, and film and television stars in media who focus on things and imitate them.

7)Then comes House wives who nuture all the above sixs and provide market to the likes of Ekta kapoor.

8)Rest are kids and retired people, the ones who are ready to join the queues and others who are coming out of queues.

9)Next The great system challengers who does not get in the above eights are the so called criminals and outlaws who expands the boundaries of existing law

Validity of report
by KN Simhan on Mar 01, 2012 03:36 AM

Just as reports of a drug's efficacy reported by its manufacturer or a political party about its prospect in an election, reports produced by providers of service and training need to be taken with caution.
