my message is simple, if you think you are equal dont expect pampering. why cant women dress aptly like men. we are not saying they have no right to dress as they feel like, but imaginea men in middle of road in a sexy hotpants or inner wear or a trasparent shirt with nipples ripping out then it will become obsene, so women should mind how they behave in public and how they dress in public. not that it is going to stop crime against them, but it will bring sanity and socal equalisim. exposure in the name of fashion is cheap. you can wear that cloths inside your home, in a hotel or a party but on public places and institutions one should be dressed aptly. equality comnes from within.
The entire effort is misguided as it reinforces the view that women themselves consider themselves as sex objects. Why should a woman feel the need to expose herself in the public? Can we deny that it is aimed at getting male attention by sexually stimulating him.It of course does not give a man the right or excuse to molest or rape a woman but it raises pertinent questions about the female psychology itself. By dressing scantily,a woman aims at nothing by empowering herself with the ability to garner male attention and in a way she ends up considering herself as a sex object who can make men eat out of her hand just by showing her skin.It only reinforces the impression that women are sex objects and women do not mind portraying themselves to be one. These kind of attitudes by feminists in no way helps the cause of women but demeans them.

the above campaigns pupose is not really to encourage women to wear short or long or whatever kind of clothes, but to have the right to be able to wear them without having to deal with filthy remarks from men or attempts to molest them.
It is a campaign which asks the society and men more specifically to become more mature in their mind sets.
The fact is that in India most men are immature and can't cope with assertive women, in personal or social life. They are not taught to respect women.
ABROAD (in the WEST) though still male dominated, women can go about half naked and men usually wont even give a second glance.
IN INDIA a woman in burkha even is not safe from filthy comments probbaly.
WHy do you think that is the case when 100% of the time we are harping on our so called 'great culture'??
again i dont think the campaign above has the focus on getting women to wear short /long stuff but to get the men to GROW UP.

Women will parade around naked. And you expect men around her watch them politely not feeling anything. I have a healthy body and mind and NOT impotent. Unfortunately, I don't have low libido (or absence of it) like you. So please excuse me from your lecture.

Yeah, but many of them will still rape.
And may I add another thing? Once I was in Barcelona I went to the beach and was confronted with a sea of nude women? And I was so embarrassed (and even ashamed that I visited such a country) that I couldn't look anywhere else but the sky. My prayer was heard, after a relatively short stint of 2 months I came back happily.

Well said. By exposing themselves, such women only send out a message that they consider themselves only as sex objects.
Feminists and some misguided women want only rights for themselves and duties for men. Its the height of extreme feminism that advocates slavery of men. This campaign is aimed at enslaving men sexually by making them think of sex all the time with women all around sexily clad and yet unable to fulfill that basic need. It is also aimed at creating sexual assaults as some men will resort to molestation and even rape when it crosses the limits and are unable to control the urge. This situation is the most welcome for women's groups as an increase in the crime rate means more money, business and funds for these wretched and vested interests who have made women's rights their business. They are making money through funds by riding the wave of women's problems and why would they ever want to solve it when that is their bread and butter? They would want to aggravate the situation by creating a society where women walk around skimpily and men are sexually aroused and some men give in. An increased crime rate is a boon for women's groups as they can quote the high rate of crimes against women and continue to seek funds and laws on the supposed assumption that women are suppressed. In reality, these women's groups are the cause of increased crime rate. Infact, gender harmony is the last thing that women's groups want since that means they have to shut shop. Who wants to be unemployed and without business, tell me? So these campaigns are aimed at that.

I am beginning to suspect that the recent rapes in UP were perpetrated by supporters of this campaign.

The dress you are wearing, much more than arousing me, makes me want to puke.
