that we men are saying for long time. this is conservatism. But whoever was raped, was that girl to be blamed. that is what we have to ask

Many times, yes. But the issue should be whether women have duties too like men and in areas such as attire to maintain harmony in society. Yes, certainly they have, something that the media and women's groups deny.

Sharad, what do you mean by equality? Equality of rights minus equality of duties? That is not equality sir. If women seek equality, they should first realise what it means to be equal. It means EQUALITY IN RESPONSIBILITIES AS MUCH AS IN RIGHTS. NOT JUST RIGHTS. IT MEANS A WOMAN CANNOT GET MARRIED IF SHE IS NOT EARNING WELL AS IS HAPPENING NOW WITH GUYS. A WOMAN CANNOT MARRY OR MEET HER BASIC NEEDS IF SHE IS UNEMPLOYED AS IS HAPPENING WITH MEN NOW. Women will not be treated differently with regard to taxes, will not get any concessions, lower punishments etc. because they are women. This is real equality, something that women don't want. They want the advantages of a traditional society and the advantages of modern society together. This is unfair to men who end up paying both ways!

Add one more to that. Supreme court advise Kanimozhi of 2G scam fame that they can't give her bail but she can apply under special provisions for leniency for women. That's ridiculous.

You can bet that if a lot of men make an appearance at the protest they will coz they wanted to enjoy the show, not support. Although the media will definitely claim that even men are in support of the cause.

And we men should know that freedom of women comes with their taking equal responsibility. We men should know that from now on, we don't provide for them, we don't pay for their expenses, we don't pay their dating and dining bills, let alone their shopping bills. We men need to know that more and make the women pay the price of equality.
In stud walk men will wear only underwear and demonstrate, size of their buddy, slogan would be we don't care, just don't make our buddy awake!most comic thing is men are more decently dress than women, it should be about decency in dressing.
