Still Hay eaters are roaming about freely. Appeasement on the rise. Vote bank politics in full strenght. Still the whole country had to be turned into a police state. To keep the hooligans at bay. Hooligans were made law keepers for the day at shivaji nagar Mumbai. Owaisi is uses Metaphor " We have lost the battle, but shall win the war." Kudos...

Colored cricker

My most distinct memory of 1992 was the cricket world cup won by pakistan. And the most amazing part was that it was the first world cup to be played in colored clothing and we were watching live matches from australia for the first time. Satellite television, colored cricket and commercialization was just warming up to become HUGE!

Coz the world cup came back to Asia after India's World Cup triumph in 1983. 26th march 1992 (the day after Pak won the World Cup) was declared a holiday in India. Those were the times when we used to be happy in each other's achievements. Which is one more thing that has changed since 1992. Sad
