Modes of crime and terrorism has also evolved since 1992. Prior to 1992 there was never ever any "Carpet-Bombing" of a city during peace times in any part of the World, Bombay witnessing the first "Terrorism Bombs" on 12-3-1993. In 2010, "Bombs" and "terrorism" have replaced the "Gulli dadfas" and "Chakku Mara-Mari" of the ,"once upon a time in Bombay" era. In other words, post 1992, along with a technological and scientific leap in the average living standards of Metropolitan indians, the threat of scientific innovative terrorism has also increased. We are living in a more dangerous World than in pre-1992 India as also the World.
Sure, you might have quizzed 18 year olds about Ayodhya and you expected big answers from them. They were not even born when it happened, and most of us who belong to the so called genY were around 2-3 yrs old. The youth of today are far more liberal minded and accomodating, and cultural and religious differences are the last thing on their minds when making friends or meeting people. We would like a clean break from the past, and not worry about petty politicians who divide our country on religious lines. So Ayodhya and its verdict, dosent affect us in anyway.
