An American dream! But even in India, one can rise above mediocrity if we have the right attitude! AK is a rare diamond! Einstein said of Gandhiji that future generation will not believe that such a person lived in our midst! But all are fair game in the net! Nobody is spared! It is like if we have so many Godmen why we are in the pits!
We get what we deserve in the end. Human mind is complicated with selfishness of some tarring the landscape! Give an inch, they take a mile! Even the best managed society have to enforce the rule of law! Well, we are the biggest demo-crazy! People with clout, read above law, can go scot-free!
The life of AK is one of rising above petty politics & being right up there! But to expect him to clear the murky waters of our politics is just beyond any human. I dare say, even God! That is why He dare not make an appearance in our midst! Sigh!
We all have to play our part. There is no perfect system. We have to give & take. US fights to stay ahead of the fire-eating dragon which consumes anything in its way! Off with his head is the rule, unpalatable to our sensitive veggie stomachs!
We can reflect that we so have such people in our midst who can show the way but the cynical holds sway! Ultimately, it is upto collective conscience to decide what we deserve.
Thank God we have an expiry period, none is spared! Hopefully, we get justice in the end!
He was above party politics and tried to ignite the minds of youth with the vision to make india superpower.We should have presidents like him, not like rubber stamps appointed by Kongressi.

How does anybody inspire others...? His writing inspires others. His talks. His work inspires others. Isnt that enough. Do you want him to cheer you up by Shouting. You dont seem like a person who wants to get inspired anyway...(Yaaaawn)

i remember starting a community in orkut 3 years back to spread that kalamji should not be elected for 2nd time,intellectuals are not fit for those post,only old retired ex politicans or sometimes even current politicians are fit for it
