Kalam was an absolute, out and out political appointee of BJP, unlike the present President.

DANIEL DONT MIX UP POLITICS WITH PERSONAL TRAITS. HE IS A GOOD EXAMPLE TO OUR NEXT GENERATION. NO OTHER PRESIDENT HAS EVER THOUGHT OF OUR YOUNGER GENERATION WHICH IS ALMOST 60% OF INDIAS POPULATION.

Daniel, you have to consult a Psyactrist since you are comparing a Scientist with a Politician. India's Bane is only Politicians & Population.As you are from Maharashtra, only this will come in your mind since the Politicians & Police are the Dogs who are licking the feet of Dawood, a Desh Throgi.

Dr Kalam is indeed a doctorate in science subjects; he did his PhD while he was with ISRO I believe. But then, whoever entere ISRO/DRDO as scientist, they will eventually end up doing PhD, it is not that hard; Do some research on say " comparison of material A with material B for better properties" collect/analyse some data, publish some paper is some obscure journal; you have your doctorate.

commonsense has a lot of sense. I think what he means by PhD is 'Potatoe highly defective'. May be he has a PhD.

for the President ship, the suitable candidate was, Dr. Farook Abdullah, Dr. Karan Singh , Bhairoo singh sekhawat. other will give dualcharge of MMS. but no need to Partibha...........Its totally Newton 3rd law applied here.. every action............. so such a big country having such a small president.
