Respected Kalam is the best role model of the present day, true Indian. India is a country of unity in diversity, and he is the best example of it. His religion and ethinic minority did not stop him from doing what he wanted and he also contributed a lot to united India. Every Indian should be proud of him, for actually in India, Muslims and Hindus are brothers. There are a few rotten people in both the religions who are a threat to the society, but the majority of the population will agree that we are all brothers. It is time to stop fighting aganist ourselfs in the name of religion, region, language etc. I know that a lot of hate messages are posted aganist Tamils, and Muslims and Marathis, and whatever, everyone with a small mind hates other cultures. Let us stop all this and unite as Indians. Let us take Kalam's life and achivements as example, a poor tamil muslim rises to become the Prisident, not because of his political support, but just because of his noble qualities and hardwork.
No one can say that Kalam hates other religions, for he is well verses with Tirukural, and he is also a true muslim. This is the way brothers in India should live. Let us come out of the small thoughs of spreading hatred amoung ourselfs... We can do a lot of thing instead of hating others..

Rambabu is right. These tamils suffer with kind of regionalistic aids. God knows when they come out of that mindset and contribute towards the unity of india. ManiKandddaaa god save you and bless your only tamil people.

Every article i read about him, creates a positive energy. Politicians can forget you, but people still remember your good deeds and you are still a ICON. We need a president like him. A ICON for the youngsters to get the boost.
Kalam brought lot of grace to the president seat. Definitely he has touched the hearts of many millions of students. He is a real Bharath 'rathna' - may god belss him with good health and happiness. His story will be an inspiration for generations.

True, but grace which is short lived and succeeded by a selfish corrupt lady who was involved in scams and murders. Legacy of diginity and honor can be created, but they should also be carried forward. Otherwise the future generations of a nation have no idea of the sacrifices and ideals of their forefathers.

don't get emotional - even APJ agrees that his security can be much less abroad
and i agree with others that we need to stop spending on security for people like maya thaku srk etc.

Without Knowing the circumstances on how he became a President, you cannot have your stupid commentry running everywhere. His name was recommended not from any Person of BJP, but from Chandra Babu Naidu , the Then CM of Andhra Pradesh.
