Please try to do Kapal Bhati Pranayama after returning home,Then if you are addicted to Coffee which induces bile, try to counter it with fresh lime juice to induce sleep. While retiring to bed lie on the back and do deep inhalation with exhalation time longer than inhalation.Repeat the same by turning to your right and left. This has helped me a lot

Have fix time to go to bed.
Half an hour after dinner(dinner should be light),go for a walk around your place of stay for at least half an hour. When you start feeling slightly tired, you will also start ywaning.Get into your bed switch off light and in no time you will be snoring away to glory.

I use to have this problem. Earlier I used to leave office very late have my dinner late and this used to disturb my cycle. Without any medicines i have solved bychanging the life style. I dont spend time beyond 7.15PM in office. As I reach home have some lime juice watch TV for 15 mins and have my dinner as early possible say 8:30 PM. By the time it is
9:45 I get sleep and by 10 PM I am asleep. This helps me to wake up by early latest by 6:0 AM and have enough time to get ready by 8:0 AM to go to office. Do not spend time in bars parties or chit chat etc

Light meditation does wonders

Try this 3 to 5 minutes exercise just before going to bed -

* Sit in lotus position - close your eyes.
* Focus on the center point between your eyes called the third eye.
* Feel relaxed and say word "OM" very slowly 10 times while exhaling.

A good night's sleep is waiting for you.

Like most of the reader are saying here, the main reason of sleeplessness is the we unknowingly take the routine issues to bed with us and keep on thinking about them. Be it a small argument with a team mate, a rough talk over parking or thinking about your coming appraisal :)

The idea is to divert the attention from daily issues and enjoy the sleep.

Cheers!

Just before going to bed, sit in lotus position in the bed only - close your eyes and focus on center point of your eyes (called the third eye). Your can say the word 'OM' too while exhaling- but do it very slowly. Just do it for good 3 to 5 mins and lay down. A good night is waiting for you.

It's just that unknowingly, we take the issues to bed which we faced during whole day and keep on thinking about them endlessly losing a good sleeping time.
