Usually the sexual harassment of either gender exists in industrial/business sectors mainly based in cities.
Rural environment which employees more women by vast difference does not face such an issue. Sexual harassment in rural does happen but it comes from the "employer/higher caste" being the predator. Its not form the co-worker.
When the majority of Indians live in villages who are uneducated daily labourers are free from this malaise why is it very much prevalent in the more educated India? Has "education & knowledge" given a free hand to disrespect women or is the new found wealth which erodes the values?
Easy solution for all womens problem is wear BURKA and cover the her body. If women wear a burka no man can see her body and not harrase her. Why all other religion not support to wear a burka. Islam is only one religion who protect the women through burka.
Who is exploited in workforce? Men or Women,If Men in organization gets exploited,he will be humiliated to his death but for Women in organization is humiliated,she will be paid to keep mouth shut & if the humiliation is done by Sr.Management,God can only save that company,bcoz that lady will go out on singing his fable & unless she is paid quiet sum.
Why don't govt look after Men harassment in workplace by their Bull Shit Women CEO.
Most of the women by nature are interested in easy money without working hard for it. Some examples : 01) They will clamour for equality and also demand reservation when it suits them. 02) They are against dowry (even I am against it) but when it comes to their own marriage they will look for the richest guy available on the chopping block 03) When it comes to divorce / separation they would demand hefty maintenance / alimony from the innocent husband to spend on their next in line boyfriends. 04) In office mostly they are not interested in working hard to get promotion but in flaunting their sexual charms to secure it.
SO MUCH FOR THE WEAKER SEX AND VICTIMS OF A MALE DOMINATED SOCIETY. TRUTH IS YESTERDAYS VICTIM HAS BECOME TODAY'S VILLAINS

Dear Mukund, Point is women can be as much a good worker as the man and also she can be as much a villain as the man. But you see that the IPC does not recognise this. Whether you talk of Section 498A or any other law it is all in favour of women. There is not even a penalty for a false complaint. Women by nature are good in home politics and you can see in the fact that they have organised themselves so well and formed so many organisations. There is a National Commission for Women, there is a Ministry for Women and Child Development, why there is even a Ministry for Animals. But can you show me one organisation which advocates the rights of males or that any women who acknowledges that men can also be victims of women oppression. Add to this you will find all the media has been hijacked by females whether you talk of NDTV or CNN IBN. They will just conduct a propoganda based on one or two stray incidents or focussing only the women side of the story without even bothering about the side of the story of the male. Just think abou it.

It is the male ego which does not allow him to go public about the humiliation and harassment they undergo at the hands of women. So millions may be suffering silently!

Its not a male ego ,its female tendency to reach high in short fall ,female are protected by social & legal way so male have to corner,now many ppl will not understand but later when they will feel heat as they nevet go out where these kind of protection exists female age approx 18-30 are looking male partner upo to 65 yrs as no body & law stop male to go close females
According to research a human male needs 15 partners for his carnal needs...so women should not complain much. Imagine if we ask you women to stop going to toilet when you feel like,can you hold on ? Be realistic.
I am working in IT industry for the past 10 years. I can honestly say that more than 50% women in IT industry don't work. They have all reasons on earth to come late ..leave early during office hours. I have come across many who push responsibility to other people in team. if none of their antics workout, then they would request. Chances of sexual harassment is very less if they behave professionals in workplace. There is no saints in corporate world to offer something to women colleague for nothing in return .
