system needs to be changed
by united india on Jun 16, 2010 12:16 PM  | Hide replies

No doctors-engineers-scientists or ANY PERSON should enter ADMINISTRATION just by clearing UPSC exams by toiling HARD & after selection live peacefully EVER after EVEN at the COST of country's benifit!!!
ADMINISTARTION POSTS should be NOMINATED one by the CITIZENS of India...For exg,in the field of science--FROm DISTINGUISHED SCIENTISTS having WORK experinece in their field, in the FIELD of COMMERCE-from a distinguised PERSON having COMMERCE background & WORK experience...in this way...AND the watchdog should be PEOPLE of INDIA...This will root out corruption too...

United India,

We just dun need one or two administrators no...we need thm in large number as u are aware tht our country is full of diversity.. Choosing administrators is not a election process...

Open competitn is the best thing for choosing the administrators...

No ATUL ji, our system of choosing administrators r based on ELIMINATION through Competition rather than SELECTION!!!...We do need people from diverse sectors, but our present system has made that 70% ADMINISTRATORS should be from ENGINEERING field & only 10% from commerce-arts background...Which menas that Commerce-arts bgrd students r fools??? They cant qualify UPSC hence cannot be GOOD administartors??? In INDIA an Illiterate-Criminal can HOLD the nations highest posts BUT why cant People other than ENGINEERS-SCIENTISTS can become ABLE administrators JUST by not qualifying interview in UPSC exams???? Atleast I do NOT agree...

" atulji do u know that doctors nowadays r NOT at all interested in their field becoz of high level of penalties???My personal experences shows that doctors r moving away from their field & doing MBAs & joining administrations...Faisal case is an example of this...see the pass percentage of UPSC takers---70% r engineers from IITs & NITs,rest 30% r doctors, science graduates & arts...atulji,u r not aware about the state of affairs in India...U r ONE view is correct--NOBODY should JOIN administration...BOYCOTT them...lets see HOW MP-MLAs survive then... "

United India,

U r right. I am very well aware of this fact that high skilled techincal guys are more involved towards administration now a days...

But in my personal opinion there shudnt be any problm with that coz their intellect coupled with technical skills is going to benefit the society in a large way... whats wrng if out of 20,000 iit guys every year 600 or 700 join administartive services... rest 190000 technical guys are still thr to help and provide services in their respctv areas...

I am NOT in favor by the WAY people from specialized stream ENTER a general ADMINISTRATION...These posts should be NOMINATED & NOT by CRAMMIMG general studies...& after selection RELAX in GoVT Bunglows!!!This is precisely that is happening these days...No care for UPLIFTMENT of cities,No care for higher LIVING standards,NO care to ENFORCE laws to evict ENCROACHERS, No care to inforce TRAFFIC rules...& so many...SYSTEM NEEDS to be CHANGED...

United India,

Thats what u do in case of electing politicians.....do u see in any change whn u elect thmm...

So in the same way u wont find any chnge by electing administrators....

Furthermore, it is not possible to elect 1000 administrators every year... India doesnt boast or show off 1000 exprncd talents every year... Therefore, in my opinion open competitn is best

United India,

In response to your above comment I would like to say that yes u r rite that we have elected a form of govt which is not so much concernd about social evils... instead they have taken a pathetic approach towards the genuine social problems....

And for that we are entirly responsible.... Cos we dun use our voting rights properly... we dun caste our vote on a hot day of May just coz we have to stand in queues....

Abraham Lincoln has rightly said, " people of a country get the govt what they deserve"

So we can not blame any1 for that... we have elcted thm by choosing thm wrngly...

And yeah u r right.. law need to be changed now and shud be modified in such a way that it can be adapted by our modern society ( i mean current day society and its problms)

Atulji,
More number of engineers-doctors-scientists r MOVING to ADMINSTN...WHY??? This is becoz they r finding MORE lucrative than their original field...WHY?? Becoz adminstration is peaceful & REWARDFUL & POWERFUL...Faisal case is a typical example of this...This is becoz OUR PRESENT system of CONSTITUTION demands to MAKE MORE MONEY in LESS TIME...This is evident in IPL too...The present condition of GOVT Research agencies r in DISMAL state...Just publish already published papers!!!...

United India,

What u r referring as more numbers are just peanuts...

Let me give u an example... everywhr atleast 20 thousand highly skilled guys clear iit and other medical examination and also include IIM's in that..

Furthr, everywhr u will see maximum seats which is notified by UPSC is around 1000...

Now as per u 70 percnt comes from IIT, IIM or from medical or from law fields.... which means 700 students...

So whats wrng if out of 20000, 700 are cuming in administratibe services... this is not a large number rather just peanuts...

Still 19000 are thr to serve the society in thier own areas...

Welcome thm bro and expct thm to do beter for the society and our people

" u r right that THEY r NOT entirely BUT i am of the view that our present system of so called ELECTING GOVT is useless NOW...Somehow or the other WE r going to elect CORRUPT-CRIMINAL leaders...I am of the view that WE should re-write our CONSTITUTION based on present NEED & NOT following what BRITISHERS wrote for themselves...u know indian penal code was written in 1860s??? u know our constitution is COPY-PASTE of 1900 AMERICAN-BRITISH constitution???? Indians have NO-law of their own...Administrators r fully responsible for that too...Why not change the system??? "

when Mr feasal is talking about sense of belongingness and understanding the pain of the youth and the region....isnt that belongingness been felt by himself?????answer is quite visible becoz that sense of belongingness has only prompted him to be a apart of upsc and serve the nation which he feels and believes to be his own.if this understanding ,feeling of belonginess is aroused in the youth of kashmir a new and warm dawn in kashmir is not too far...its very much possible and simple.POLITICIANS AND PARTYLEADERS PLEASE STAY OUT OF THIS AS U KEEP UR PERSONAL INTERESTS ABOVE SOCIAL INTERESTS.

United India,

He has used his intellect very well by joing the administration and his intellect cud be very well used for removing the social evils like corruption, nopatism, favorism etc etc.... This is going to benefit the society at large and not only to few people...

Now as per ur logic nobdy shud join India administration else u will call tht he has joined to enjoy govt power and all....

Please get rid out of the perception that whoeva is joining administration is joining it for power and money...

Yes job secuirty is very important for an individual human being but he cud have got tht security even in any govt medical college but if he has joined Administration there would be sum purpose in his minfd and he is a better person to judge what is gud and what is bad for him....

His becoming part of administration shud be welcomed coz he is representating Kashmiri youths and showing that they feel dat they are integral part of India...

United India,

Those who have got the job thrugh reservation and those who wants to do phsycophancy are indulged in such sort of activities...

Those who are there though their own merit need not to be corrupted for the sake of being in power....

Following command is not a bad thing rather its follwing evil command against ur own will is something on which we need to get alertd...
