Don't cristisise for being a muslim. It is not his fault. We follow a religion by birth and not knowning it. Any kashmiri is not from saudi. They are very much part of India.

The man has come on the basis of intellect and merit and he has in a way brought the society togethr...

The achvment of this man will realy help a lot of kashmiri youth to join the main stream and fell that Kashmir is part of India so this man has brought the society togethr,

whereas the lady u r referring came into power only on the basis of dividing society in the name of caste and folling innocent people...

I am NOT a loser BUT I am a common man...I too read our CONSTITUTION & now I feel this system is CORRUPT as a whole & NOT applicable in the present scenario...The whole system of governance is corrupt...Mr faisal has made a worng decision coming into Indian bureucracy...he came here for SECURED JOB in the time of recession...

I am NOT disrespecting him, instead I am congratulating him...BUT he should have used his intellect where common man is benifitted like being a doctor & removing illness...HE has made a wrong choice..which shows he wants to ENJOY GOVT PERMANENT JOB in the time of recession...Poor fellow he soon will be involved with some form of corruption...

United India,

He has used his intellect very well by joing the administration and his intellect cud be very well used for removing the social evils like corruption, nopatism, favorism etc etc.... This is going to benefit the society at large and not only to few people...

Now as per ur logic nobdy shud join India administration else u will call tht he has joined to enjoy govt power and all....

Please get rid out of the perception that whoeva is joining administration is joining it for power and money...

Yes job secuirty is very important for an individual human being but he cud have got tht security even in any govt medical college but if he has joined Administration there would be sum purpose in his minfd and he is a better person to judge what is gud and what is bad for him....

His becoming part of administration shud be welcomed coz he is representating Kashmiri youths and showing that they feel dat they are integral part of India...

atulji do u know that doctors nowadays r NOT at all interested in their field becoz of high level of penalties???My personal experences shows that doctors r moving away from their field & doing MBAs & joining administrations...Faisal case is an example of this...see the pass percentage of UPSC takers---70% r engineers from IITs & NITs,rest 30% r doctors, science graduates & arts...atulji,u r not aware about the state of affairs in India...U r ONE view is correct--NOBODY should JOIN administration...BOYCOTT them...lets see HOW MP-MLAs survive then...

Pl. help change Indian Beaurocrat Image
by anuradhakumari on Jun 16, 2010 11:10 AM  | Hide replies

Indian Beaurocray Image is chiefly of corruption, spineless followers of small mind politicans who seldom act in the long term interest and prestige of Nation. Kindly change this.
India needs to grow as a mature, stable and corruption free country so that it is ready to become this century superpower

Waj Faisal, Wah !
by anand v on Jun 16, 2010 11:09 AM  | Hide replies

This is what Faisal says about his success in IAS..he attributes it to Constitution

"All India topper at UPSC civil services exam Dr Shah Faisal has attributed his success to the provision of equality for all enshrined in the Indian constitution.

"Indian constitution provides for giving equal rights to everyone irrespective of caste, religion, region and my success in the UPSC exam is a result of that," Faisal, who hails from Kashmir, said at a felicitation function here last night.

Stating that there was no better country than India, Faisal said, "We create controversies over pity things like caste, religion, region and language."

"There is no reason to get upset if someone doubts your Indianness because you are a Muslim. There is no need for a certificate from anybody that you are an Indian. Practise any religion in your home or society but outside, do not ever forget that you are an Indian and learn to respect people from other religions," he said.

"In pursuit of your goal, you will find people who will trouble you because you belong to a particular religion, caste, region but if you have the capability, then nobody can stop you from reaching your goal"

United India,

One shud be diplomatic for being an administrator... An administrator shud not be extremist or hard line supporter...

An administrator has to hear both view and has to cum out with an amicable solution and dats what u call being diplomatic...

United India,

Here u go wrng... corruption doesnt creep in society by being diplomaatic rather it comes only whn u start favouring one at the expense of others...

U can not call a person diplomatic whn he is favouring and leaving the other aside.. this is altogthr difrnt from being diplomatic...

I knw system is corrupt but beaurocrats are not entirely responsible for dat...

U r wrong here...CORRUPTION starts from PArliamenr & passes to Bureacracy, then to Judiciary & finally to common men in India...BUREUCRATS r FULLY responsible for that...IF they r BRIGHT students,WHY at all they pass the corruption to their JUNIOR level??? There r thousands of IAS officials who r using illegal power connections in Delhi-UP-Bihar...So r they NOT responsible according to ur VIEW??

u r right that THEY r NOT entirely BUT i am of the view that our present system of so called ELECTING GOVT is useless NOW...Somehow or the other WE r going to elect CORRUPT-CRIMINAL leaders...I am of the view that WE should re-write our CONSTITUTION based on present NEED & NOT following what BRITISHERS wrote for themselves...u know indian penal code was written in 1860s??? u know our constitution is COPY-PASTE of 1900 AMERICAN-BRITISH constitution???? Indians have NO-law of their own...Administrators r fully responsible for that too...Why not change the system???

United India,

Yes those who are involved in this corruption are purely responsible for it... I am simply trying to make u understnd tht Beaurocracy is not entirly responsible my frnd...

Tell me one thing if won't give bribe how cud sumone take it from u?

So we have to change ourselves also no.... Thats why m saying its not only the beaurocracy rather we are also liable to be blamed for corruption...
