I pray to god that some sanity prevails over general cat guys hu are heaping praise over this fellow hu has turned god courtesy the show put up by media..r u guys aware that he probably cud be taking the seat of a poor general cat guy, hu bcoz of extreme poverty on one hand and gr8 reservation on the other hand cud not make it to the list..hu will think abt those guys..
After him (Abhishek) ,credit goes to Sandeep Bansal ,his teacher and also generosity of bhabha coaching classes which allowed him to study without fee . Also the organizations which are extending a hand in paying his fee for IIT. Lucky fellow that many hands are there to support him and guide him. Also the fact that he is SC . he scored under SC category ,though a person in general category may have scored high marks than him..Wish I was a SC ,free admission and free job Anyways, in spite of such adversities ,he was able to study is itself a great achievement.
Is it a 154 rank overall or in SC / ST category. If overall than great. Deserves all the attention. But if in SC than i doubt wheather he will get thro 4 years at IIT. More than 95% from reserved category specially SC /ST drops out in 2nd & 3rd year of IIT thus wasting a very very precious seats.

bete manoj raise your thinking a bit higher..did u read that he studied under the lantern & wasn't having adequate books. had he had all these facilities,he might have scored 154th overall rank. but thing is he dared to think of clearing the iit.

This is a really a good lesson and a great inspiration to all those students who indulges in activities which do not add any value either to them or to the society. Good luck to Abhishek in his future endeavours.
