Dear Yogi,You seem to be caught in the time warp of socialism days of Nehru and Gandhi when licenseraj was ruling high and the jobs were in short supply. As a result employees cringed and crawled before business men employers just to hang on to their jobs.We are in a changed situa tion now, thanks to the opening of our economy, with good work condition on the service sector front.Ultimately, there is a strong realisation about the value of manpowerwhose ingenuity from top to bottom level contributes to the wealth of the company.Last but not the least,my hearty congrats to Abhishek for cracking IIT JEE.
India by and large is a land of poor people...earlier it was direct rule and now it is money rule in the form of wage slavery...after his IIT he will also spread his hands before a businessman for job....even PhD holders will come to a businessmen for a job..ok, lets me remove all placements from IIT's and IIM's and then let me see how many people come there for the education...unfortunaltely systems in India encourage brute competition -- competiotn beaters - by creating this 1 winner we have created a 1000 losers...also he will still remain a beggar before a businessman either in India or even if he goes abroad...the system does not teach him to become independent by virtue of entrepreneurship or businessmen...studying in IIT's / IIM's helps them demand readymade packages of lakhs of rupees / year..

It is better to have children compete in Education than in dance shows & 'reailty' shows. No businessman can give an IITian lakhs if he doesn't add value to his business.
Congratulations Abhishek !Believe me you are great.I remember how I made my son comfrotable with ACs, Power generator etc to enable him to join IIT Kanpur in 1999 a feat which you have able to accomplish with lanterns without fans etc in a shanty.Hats Off to your parents who provided you motivation and strength to carry on in such an unfavourable circumstances.I am Proud of you and so would be your entire community. This is beginning of a new life for your entire family.Keep it up! God Bless you!
Why people still look for more children inspite of poverty striking them? Is this lack of knowledge about family planning? Why not Government or non-profit organisations target this issue?
