Not an Achivement a foolish activity.
by sridhar kulkarni on Jan 10, 2010 11:55 AM

Nothing is achived in this excise. He could have come by Volvo bus, he could have reached without stress in 15 hours and enjoyed the party.Even speed achived is nothing, one can drive atleast 75 KMPH with just 3 breaks. Anyone at his age can drive 6 hours at streach without break. He has taken break every couple of hours driving at 60 KMPH. Rediff should publish real achivements not Under achivements.

Great Drive indeed
by suresh masuti on Jan 10, 2010 09:53 AM

Well this is a great drive indeed and good experience of biking. But I personally day journey is the best thing where visibility is quite clear and truck drivers will also not sleepy. I think road from Kolhapur to Belgaum is quite superb as it has been maintained by Punj Lioyd. Any how good experience indeed, but always take care of ur life by wearing helmets and getting frequent breaks to recharge ur body.

Great achievement of averaging at 28 miles and hour? Come on man, I am sure you enjoyed your trip, but 28 miles an hour is not that great to call it an achievement

Nice but risky on 2 wheelers
by nityanand on Jan 10, 2010 01:19 AM

Hi

Good achievement. But please dont risk on 2 wheelers for such long distances.
Also if you are trying this once again..my advice would be that you leave Pune by 5 pm so that u reach Belgaum bfore 12 am. Take rest in a lodge and start again next morning 7am...u would still reach same time in Bnagalore but with rest and less risk instead of driving during that graveyard hours.......
