Hi Man, You have done a great journey. I have once tried biking from Chennai to Pondicherry. Frankly speaking, i was feeling damn tired after doing this 160 km journey. But you have done 800 km non-stop. Hat's off to you. Try doing something like this quite often.
I started at 2:00 PM in the noon from Pune by Maruti 800 and reached Belgaum 350 Km at 7:00 PM and took dinner at Ranibennur at 11:00 PM and reached Bnagalore at 3:30 AM, it took me 13.5 hrs to cover the distance. I was alone driving the car, No one else with me.

hi, i have driven from mumbai to thiruvananthapuram and back last april in my scorpio. on my return leg did Bengaluru to Mumbai in a net driving time of 13.5 hours
I purchased my Hero Honda passion bike on 29.08.01. Within 6 months the bike had run 15000 odd kms. I was posted at Giddi, near Ranchi at that time. Now I am at Mumbai.120 km of travel per day was normal, from Giddi to Hazaribag or Ranchi. I travelled frequently from Giddi to Tatanagar 200 kms away & back, total 400 kms in 5 hrs. I travelled to Patna 350 kms away & back 700 kms in 8.5 hrs. Once my confidence increased I travelled to my hometown Nagpur which is nearly 1300 kms away from Giddi, in 15 hrs. I started at 4.30 am in the morning & reached Nagpur at 7.30 p.m. The fastest train from Tata to Nagpur at that time was Gitanjali exp (from Bombay to Howrah- it takes 15 hrs from Tata to Nagpur). I bet even that. All my office staff, colleagues & superiors, neighbours, truck drivers & hardcore travellers whoever heard of it were astounded. Me & my bike no had become famous in my locality. The route from Tata to Keonjhar across Orissa & Chattisgarh was beatiful to say the least (NH No 3). I stopped for 1/2 an hour at Sambalpur at 12.00 noon to take food, otherwise I was continuously on my bike. By the time I reached home my face had darkened completely by soot & the entire body had gone stiff, but still I was not feeling tired on the contrary I was feeling very excited. The scenery in Orissa was beautiful. At some places I wud meet a truck only after a gap of around 15 minutes. In Chattisgarh I drove my vehicle almost standing for the major part.
