few bikers from bangalore travelled bangalore-pune-bangalore in 28 hrs...... they had set a target of 24 hrs which they could not break due to rains..........
nothing I did 1300 kms from Giddi, 60 km from Ranchi to Nagpur in 15 hrs non- stop through naxal infested areas, starting 4.30 am in the morning & reaching Nagpur at 7.30 p.m on the same day. It created a sensation in my office, even long distance truck drivers were amazed.
i convered distance on bike thats from Goa to Delhi in 38 Hours as we six friends created a bike tour to Goa from delhi and in return we completed that in 39 hours without any night stay
Route Was as under Goa departure at 12.30 pm Kolhapur at 5.30 pm Pune 10.30 pm nasik 5.00 am Indore 3.00 pm Kota 11.30 pm Jaipur 3.30 am Delhi 7.30 am
and distance is approx 2000 km and bike is Pulsor 200
this is nothing. I drove from Giddi, 30 km from Ramgarh, 60 km from Ranchi to Nagpur, 1300 km in 15 hrs, non-stop, single handed with only 30 min break for lunch at Sambalpur in Orissa on NH 7 (Kolkata to Mumbai). I started at 4.30 am in the Morning & reached Nagpur at 7.30 p.m. This was in 2002. All the people in the locality who heard about it were dumbstruck, including long distance truck drivers. My colleagues in my office just doffed there hat off to me. I did faster than the fastest train on that route i.e Gitanjali exp (Mumbai-Howrah exp). The scenery in Orissa & Chattisgarh was beautiful. Some places in Orissa, were so lonely I would meet a truck after a gap of nearly 15 minutes. At some places in Chattisgarh I was driving the vehicle (Hero Honda- Passion) standing with my hands off the bike. I didn't even reduce the accelarator when I was crossing the ghat near Keonjhar- that was one of the longest ghats that I ever crossed. I burnt nearly Rs 2000 worth of fuel. I purchased my bike in Aug 2001, within 6 months I had run it to more than 16000 kms. The place where I was staying u couldn't do w/o a bike. I used to be on my bike for nearly 8-10 hrs daily. Travelling 60 kms to either Ranchi or Hazaribag in 45 minutes was common. Several times I went to TATANAGAR which was 200 kms in 2.5 hrs. So the total to & fro time was 5 hrs only for 400 km journey. I undertook the journey to Nagpur because I realised if I can do 400 kms in 5 hrs I can easily do 1200 kms in 15 hrs &

so drving 800 km in a day is not a big deal man sorry for me at least in my life many time we convered more then 500 km in a day by bike also e.g Delhi-Ludiyana and ludhiyana to delhi back on same day Delhi to Narnaul and back to Delhi Delhi to jaipur and back to delhi Bhopal to indore etc
My friend did Delhi-Mumbai (1300 km) in 23 hours. He never got any mention anywhere. Neither does he considers that to be an achievement. What's the big deal here?
Quite achieveable , i used to do Kolkata to Phuentsholling, Bhutan about 780 Kms in a Mahindra Jeep, in 19 hours when there was not expressways or flyovers.
