One more tip for the ladies

Never give your room number to anyone when visiting a new city/town especially in India.
Always only give out your hotel name to any visitor. If they want to contact you then the front desk will automatically redirect the call from outside.

Never Drink when alone and if staying in a hotel.

Always write a honest review of any hotel that you stay so that other fellow travellers will benefit and punish those hotels that are not up to the mark.

Identifying a two-way mirror
by Mohan Rao on Feb 10, 2010 11:20 AM  | Hide replies

Imagine you are standing out during the day in front of a car with tinted screen. You will see your reflection on it. When you want to see what is inside, you use both your palms as blinkers against the glass (so that you block the external light) and then you are able to see inside the car. You can use the same technique. If it is a two-way mirror, you will be able to look at the other side. If it is not, then you will see nothing.
