1. Check the window curtains are drawn and gaps are checked from outside. If it is ground floor, can have the view from gaps who can watch activity from outside. 2. You may think it is high rise building and leave the curtain open but you are watched from distance building through high tech cam or binocular. 3. If you are entering room with your lover and soon engage in activity forgetting everything but after few minutes you can see room boy or room service guy is standing next to your bed, which happened many times. 4. If you are in the bath room ensure that main door is locked properly otherwise you can have surprise some times room boy or room service guy or a housekeeping lady standing when you walk out from bath room and can get some times full embarrassing view. 5. After collecting news paper ensure the main door again double locked 6. Just fixing do not disturb is not good enough as master key can open by the hotel staff and see your door is double locked from inside. 7. Some times you would have given complaint to housekeeping and you would have forgotten or he delayed and you forget, you engage on something and when he rings the bell you will not be in a position to respond and he opens the door, then you are in the midst of whatever you are doing. 8. When kids are with you, you may be coming out from bath room and same time your little one opens the door for an outsider, need to be careful
