Hello,My unemployed mother wants to visit USA to meet her daughter. Is it mandatory for father also to apply for visa? He won't be going there. But, someone told us even if one of the couples wants to visit USA,other partner should also apply for visa.

Last year Dec 2015 my L1B petition got rejected saying I don't have the specialized skills, now my company is procession my H1B. So my question do I need to mention my L1B petition rejection reason in H1b doc..? as below questions are asked in H1b doc.
1) Have you ever applied for a nonimmigrant US visa before including the tourist visa
2) Has visa been ever cancelled, denied or rejected..?
So please let me know what I need to mention for these two questions
hello, i have got clinical rotation opportunity at university of texas health center which issues an F1 visa from april1-30. I have also got an other one at mayo clinic in may which accepts b1.Is it possible to have F1 and apply for B1 again? Will my f1 get canelled if i get b1?please help me with this.
