This book is so far the best work of CB. Also I loved the nationalistic tone of the book. It is good for many rediff readers who foolishly are engaged in talks that divides the nation based upon state.
My take on CB's books: 1) Five Point Someone - good book. Very diffirent kind of book then.Refreshing. 2) One Night at callcenter - Fantastic.Down to earth mixed with the spiritual.Great reading. 3) Three Mistakes of my life - What a bore. I thought he was going down the drain and becoming monotnous.By far the worst book. 4) 2 States - Heard great reviews about it. Iam gonna read it and post comment.s

Well i read it and found it very filmy style. Some parts were interesting but some very boring. The best part of previous books were the unpredictable stories and turns. However, here story was quite predictable. I guess, Chetan Bhagat wanted to write the book from which later movie can be made. But he ended up writing the book where story is from the movie plot.
i think he has become a youth icon of india because he understand the demand of youth and whatever he has written in his books these are somewhere related to the real life of today's youth.

Really? Had your fun of commenting on another person's looks? You have a little-less-than-disgusting-and-idiotic-mind.

To some extent you are right. :) But the attitude of the original poster was not nice.

Who cares about Chetan's wife ? She may be the inspiration of the story but she is definitely not the character. A writer puts imagination and he has put it there. I loved the book because of the instant humour in it. Look it that way only and donot drag his family here
