come on man, please dont give so much important, overall it is one road city, and no need to stay there, you can finish of coorg in couple of hours and then head for Mysore, not worth staying in coorg, life ends to darkness after 7.00pm

Unfortunate to note that nobody has visited Veerabhoomi a resort in Kushala nagara. It's really different, you feel you are staying in a 17th century palace but with all modern facilities like swimming phool,Tennis court,Billiard etc.Has a good restaurant also supplying liquor. You are entertained with dances and rural songs by folks.Tratment is fantastic.Visit once and see the difference

Coorg not a romantic place.
by Rajendra Patil on Jun 05, 2009 03:35 PM  | Hide replies

On reading reviews calling Coorg Scotland of India we planned our honeymoon in Coorg. On landing there we realised it is just an ordinary place and not meant for honeymoon at all. you can plan for family holidays there, as places like Dubare Elephant camp and thalkaveri, Rajas Seat are not as beautiful as shown in these pics. I have seen Coonoor and Ooty and suggest those are 100 times better then Coorg. its my opinion.

Visit to Coorg in June-08
by Anirban Roy on Jun 05, 2009 11:51 AM

I had visited Coorg in June-08 and stayed in Madikeri for 3 days. Coorg is called "Scotland of India". Though we landed up in mid-June when the monsoon just arrived, the best time to visit Coorg is post-monsoon in September-October. Coorg is famous for Coffee and Honey. Places of visit are Abbey Falls, Omkareshwara Temple, Raja's Seat, Madikeri Fort, Raja's Gaddi, Dubare Elephant Camp, Nisharagadama, Bylakuppe, Talacauvery, Bhagamandala. If the weather is good you could take a chance to visit the National Park at Nagarhole and Iruppu Falls on its way.
Don't forget to carry an umbrella (rains can come at any time), a torch light (power cuts are frequent) and of course a camera to capture the priceless natural beauty of Coorg.
