infact most indian students enrol in vocation based courses which is in direct conflict with job interests of Australian youth , add to it recession and Australian universities inviting more students due to economic reasons, has triggered this.

Great attitude. The gulf going mallus/expats are the largest currency depositers this country sees. Not the so-called IIT educated lumps of doo-doo or the Ms/Phd craving Indian graduates. How is it that the so called educated elite of this India never contribute anything back to Indian society except in b$tching and moaning? True though, if you play with fire you get burnt. If you are hurt in India atleast you can scream for justice on CNN IBN and NDTV. Who cares for a dried up brownie in white Australia?

Do you mean to say that's the best thing happening to India ? Or do you think educated ppl from the reputed institutes go and work in places/conditions like most of the expats in Gulf do. Do you think it was the Gulf going indians who brought all the software revolution to India ?
just to move abroad..and spend some time with the victim..my dear there are lot of exploitation happending daily in gulf go and look over those places rather than these places where ur treated human..and it is like give a inch and u take everything ..thats what is happening
IT WAS NEVER RASCISM..thanks rediff..would atleast stop making a negative trend...u know by talking too much they will just change the rules..no more indians here..enough is enough..The media was very rude ..to the australians here.. thats what i felt.. like in times now..i saw how rude some of our leaders were there to the australian embassy people i dont know that persons post..the media was justjumping the intervier it looked so rude ,cruel and unprofessional.. Most of the guys who got hit were doing such jobs and our media was just encouraging such news...like taxi driver will always be hit.why dont u take how much such happens in uk..it happens they dont report...cause this is quite common no one blames that it was rascist attack.and most of the guys are really taxi driver mentality ..i mean they cant speak english ..it is a shame u will get slapped mugged dont blame australians then..if u cant speak ur easy victim ..it is the rule of the jungle when there are robbers sitting near by..and our media like aholes will be sitting and telling ..yup rascism rascism..bla bla ..they sharma who attacked was hit by a dark guy..some black guy actually ..that was never highlighted by indian media why /? just to waste our time and mood ?or just to affect peoples feeling and do a lot more time pass.?

We have so many `matured write ups' by our fellow indians when they claim that the attack are in australia not racist and just a one off thing. Wonder how they wd have reacted had, god forbid, their loved ones beeen the victims!

Ive been in both Australia and UK...Aussies are the most tolerant and friendly of the both...just because some lifeless junkies who dont have any work go around and steal money and beat up people doesnt make the whole australian population racist...Aussies were more racist towards chinese and japanese few years back, chinese didnt jump up and down like what we are doing now...
