Hi, I had purchaged a flat in Indirapuram Ghaziabad in may 2006.The flat is near completion till June 09.Total cost of flat is 16,60,000.The develepors demand of RS 110000 has become due from last 2 months.I myself have contributed rs 415000 and my financer Lic Housing has disbursed rs 700000 till date. The financer is denying the disbursement at the moment and asking to pay my margin first and I don't have money to pay the builder which is threatening to cancel the flat. As per the agreement builder can wait for 2 months only which has already lapsed. pls tell me the best way to save my flat at the moment.
Everywhere we see and read that real prices are having a correction, may come down, market tight hence builders may reduce the price, but in practical nothing happens. The builder lobby is so powerful that they would not allowe the Govt. to do anything good for common people and they do have enough black money to sustain themselves for long period. How many of Indians can afford to purchase a decent flat for 15 - 20 lakhs. How many of Indians earn 30 - 40 thousand. Imagine taking a loan of even 15 lakhs means you have to pay EMI of 15000 and above. How many people do get more than 20000 to sustain paying the emi as well household expense. So, come what may, its very tough for common people to have a simple shelter.
