If u view it from the other angle then you can say that the time the employees spend during surfing such kind of sites increases their productivity and also keep them off gossiping on useless topics,,,,,

SOCIAL NETWORKING AFFECTS PRODUCTIVITY ?
by ramamoorthy ramamoorthy on Apr 09, 2010 08:30 PM

Social networking has got its own benefits and many youngsters are addicted to internet social networking. But browsing during working hours is not justified as the time spent in front of the monitor is a loss to the organization where he is employed. A lot of information on everything under the earth is available in the internet and as such we cannot blame the internet for somebodys misuse.

If at all the young Generation turned morons,
by mammen antony on Dec 23, 2009 06:08 PM  | Hide replies

f at all the young Generation turned morons, the sole culprit behind them are excessive social networking, blind veneration of the film heroes, and the fictions like Harry Potter.A bulk of the Present Generation are quiet unaware of the problems that afflicts the socio-cultural-Economic-Political-environmental life of the common man.Formerly we had the quiz contests in Media now the entire updations have been replaced by Danace/ Music reality shows, which has given the young a perverted outlook of life as a whole. The need of the hour is not educating people to save the planet, but to save the young and to help them to lead a responsible citizen.
