Hi Arun, I recently applied for H1b visa through an agent in India and at last I got the visa. My problem now is that I would like to change job, because I am having some problems. How do I go about getting another job. Can I just simply apply for one, like normal, or do I have to ontact the visa officer and file some.
My wife is on H4 visa in US and her employer in India is applying for an H1 this year. We are'nt sure if the Indian company would put her on project as soon she gets her H1 stamped after going to India and she might have to work for few months in India before coming to US. To avoid this, we plan to apply for another H1 petition in parallel and use either of these petitions to work post Oct depending on different scenarios. Need to know -
1. If it is legal to file for multiple H1 Petitions. 2. Can she transfer her H1 (from her Indian employer) to any other company post Oct even w/o working for original company in US and not producing latest salary slips.
