Arranged Marriage

This is a good (might not be the BEST) way to choose a life partner. I had an arranged marriage. I was clear about my priorities. So I only asked those questions to any guy I met for this reason. I am a career-minded girl and many people, still today want a nonworking wife. So I made clear from my side that I would work after marriage. I always asked the guys these questions.
-Does he want a working wife?
-What the person wants from his wife
-Does he drink?
-How large his friend circle is
-Did he have any serious relationship i.e. ?
-The dress code that is permitted in the house (Only Sari??)
One important aspect for me was the traditions that would be followed during the marriage ceremony and dowry part. These days people do not ask directly for dowry. But they say, we want this kind of arrangement, we want this menu during reception etc.
These things may sound silly, or irrelevant but these are the things that show the person's mindset, as well as my own mindset.
I had only 2 meetings with my husband before saying, "YES". But as these issues were discussed before saying YES to each other, I am happily married for 6 years.
