Arranged marriages and men
by shiva on Nov 09, 2006 07:09 PM

there wud always b apprehensions and reservations before we start doing anything for the first time.same is the case with arranged marriages where ur on the verge of discovering things about ur partner-to-be.Dont have too serious a view about arranged marriages. whether its love or arranged marriages, evrything depends on how u make of a relationship. So just let go of whatever apprehensions u have in ur mind and take it as it comes. But always be on your gaurd and get the blood tests done to avoid confusion later whether its the case of an arranged or love marriage.

The logic behind the arranged marrage is still an unquestionable concept. Though changing time has changed lot in our approach towards life, but thing can be more successful with hybrid of tradition and convinience. In my openion this thought do holds good in case of type of marrage we prefer to have.

Most guys say I dont want dowry but make sure Are you saying with 100% confident? As the life starts, sometimes you'll financial crisis, so think that time how do you face the situation?

Its easy to say everything but try to think in a pragmatic way!Who is important in your life?Your parents or your partner.Make a good communication channel between you and your partner. If you listen to your parents, you will be always confused!

All the best

Views about arranged marriage

In my opinion, Whether it's arranged marriage or not,if the man/woman is not emotionally matured and not ready to support each other, the life will be a disaster.Nobody is perfect so be patient, kind and try to keep your FIRST LOVE forever!

Informative Article

I believe this article can be an eye opener for people who only believe in love & inter-caste marriages. One nice thing mentioned here is about marrying within once own caste/community etc. Its nowadays becoming a fashion of inter-caste marriages. India is a country with rich cultural heritage, due to its diversity in caste, religion, region, languages & many other factors. If the trend of inter-caste marriages continue then within few centuries the country will portray a westernised image & we can no more be proud of our rich cultural heritage. Its high time that we start believeing in the institution of marriage the way it used to happen in ancient times & not whats happening today. Modernisation of society should be skipped atleast from this institution.
