Mr Abdul Kalam was not re-appointed for the second term as President apparently in the words of Amar Singh was 'it is traditional'; why not make this tradition to all MPs/MLAs etc And the person appointed in his place does not even deserve anything - has Pratibha only in her name and no where else; CEC his Congress pet; Speaker's only qualification is being a dalit; I think this process is taking too long time; 4 Cabinet berths were occupied by former Chief Ministers who lost elections at state levels; Rest are relatives of senior/retired politicians; So why are exams conducted and colleges running in the country?
Many jealous marathis are writing trash against Meira Kumbar simply because she is a Bihari. Apply Burnol I would say. I also feel bad for marathis because hardly any one of them got any seat of any consequence in the cabinet in recent years. There was one guy Shiv Raj Patil who changed in clothes too frequently.

The speaker's post is very important as the incoming speaker will very happy to overrule the debates going against the ruling party/initiating the inquiries against the said first family/black money in Swiss Banks.There are many more uses of speaker, which I don't have to elaborate.Any person with a common sense can imagine that.Hence the post of Seaker is very important to the Ruling Party.
