Anything will happen in Politics (poly tricks)
by UselessHindiwala PETER on May 22, 2009 06:22 PM

Wait until tuesday. DMK will again participate in ministries. Even Sibu Soren who has been charged with murder was once a minister in congress led governmnet. Alagiri has just involved in dozens of murder including Tha. Krishnan murder and Tamil murasu staffs murder. So he is eligible candidate for Home minister post.

Once upon a time lot of good men were part of mininstry services, now it is bane of India to have murderers such as sibu soren and alagiri contesting for ministry post.

DMK's Tantrums
by Shankar Eppoor on May 22, 2009 06:22 PM  | Hide replies

Yet another attemptr by Ms. Sheela Bhatt to make Congress an Holy Cow. Congress knew pretty well what had happened during the Thirumangalam bye-election in Madurai recently and how much bogus voting was done with active connivance of the Returning Officers and of course Congress, who had actively campaigned for M.K. Azhagiri. Are you not ashamed to cry hoarse now, that too when his name was proposed for Cabinet Minister? When 3 innocent persons were burnt alive by the goons of Azhagiri in full view of the Public and the Media, where was Sonia and her ilk? What sanctity does Congress have to talk about DMK? Even P.Chidambaram was won dubiously. Rediff declared that he had lost and suddenly, he was declared elected - courtesy by Navin Chawla, stooge boy of Congress.

Shashi Tharoor (very well educated) will become MOS while Azhagiri (less educated) is slated to become cabinet. This is India and Congress party for which the people have voted for

DMK has no rights to talk about secularism
by Mahesh on May 22, 2009 06:18 PM  | Hide replies

The most black mailing party in the name of Secularism is DMK.Just look at those faces of DMK MPs.Congress has rightly rejected DMK's pressure in the intrest of nation. And this DMK has no right to call any party communal. Azhagiri is involved in murder case of T.Krutinan. And still Karuna will say I am having alliance with a secualr party.

if such was the case, why congress preferred to be with DMK? its not excuse that DMK is more bad than congress so you guys praise congress. all are opportunistic. just recall before results they were even ready for everything these small parties were demanding, now its because of they have enough MPs they are flexing muscles, nothing to praise

Mr Patel..issue is not of allocation of ministies to DMK..it is Rahul's pressure that he does not want to induct any person have criminal background.

Singh is King.He just fired one shot and got 5 Birds:
No.1.He saved his ministry from Corrupt Inept and Useles DMK men
No.2.He taught a lesson to regional satraps like Karuana, Maya, Mulayam and Lalu that Pressure tactics will not do any good
No.3.He saved many berths to bargain further with willing partners in waiting
No.4. He himself showed that He is not a weak PM but a strong one.
No.5 He sent a strong message to even Congressmen that Corruption of any magnitude
will not be tolerated.
Good Mr.Singh All the best

you are welcome to furnish the details of that account and forward it to the media and CBI and necessary action will be taken. You seem to have a partician opinion that congress alone is corrupt and all others are clean. It is just absurd. Barring one or two all politicians are corrupt. Be it BJP,Congress,SP,BSP,DMK,ADMK,CPM etc.

Language
by MadMaX kk on May 22, 2009 06:17 PM  | Hide replies

I accept crime part but corruption who is Mr.Clean in congress government, except PM rest are corruption, then language India is a multicultural country Tamil is also a national language so that should not be a issue. If they raise language issue , then TamilNadu will never get intergrated to national stream. Hence don't quote language as the barrier.

all languages should just be official languages. this extra status given to any one language of being "official" meaning it is somehow more important than others is best avoided. it has raised hell in south india in the past and is still an emotive issue.

MMS should show DMK the door!
by Venkatesa Prabhu on May 22, 2009 06:17 PM

This is the first test of strength for MMS! and for Sonia Gandhi! MK / DMK may have been your poll ally, your partner in erstwhile UPA, may be an elder statesman, but all that fades into insignificance when he comes calling to ask for cabinet status for his son, daughter and corrupt chamchas. Pls show them the door FIRMLY.

Tussle between Cong & DMK
by Srinivasan on May 22, 2009 06:15 PM

Dear Ms. Sheela Bhatt,

I whole heartedly welcome your remarks about the most courrptive politicians in DMK and their expectatation of swindling money to the maximum possible extent through the respective portfolios has been shattered and it is totally good for the nation. Now there should not any question of negotiation or smudging etc through emissary from Congress. It should be a full stop for ever.

P.K. Srinivasan
