Do not blame the Dravidian party. It did bring development to the state of Tamilnadu. But the sad part is Karuna and Jaya has made politics as thier family business. I hate DMK/ADMK for this. People of Tamilnadu have to vote either of them because Congress has become a spine less party. Thank God Congress is dead in Tamil Nadu.
The Dravidian Parties has Steered Tamilnadu into development path. People living in Tamilnadu must make at least one visit to any one of the North Indian States. They will realize how their political leaders are better than the SCUM North politicians.

"The Dravidian Parties have steered Tamil Nadu into development path". That may be so, but at great benefit to themselves and the families of their leaders, like Karunanithi's. The real credit for the economic development of the State goes to its entrepreuners. The progress in the State will be even more remarkable if only the state of corruption spread around by the DMK is eliminated. TN has the required business and industry leaders to achieve increased economic progress but they need an environment where they do not have to be dependent on corrupt and corrupting politicians.
It is unfortunate that the electorate are gullible and easily deceived by politicians and their wild promises. There is no other party on the scene that can clearly explain to the electorate the realities of the situation and the challenges that will have to be faced and overcome by the people. Politicians alone will not take them to the Promised Land.

i do not think the problem is with DMK or AIADMK ruling. what one has a problem with is the attempt by either of them to garner plum and earning posts for their family members. does it mean that there is no competent members in the party ??

nothing like that. all money will just go into individual pockets only. the same thing has been happening in TN in the 4 decdes of rule by dravidian parties. no morality, no accountability. politics had become a business, and now it has become a family business.

All independent foreign agencies agree that Tamil Nadu is the most developed state in India on all indicators - Educational, Medical, Urban development, Social development and ethical entreprenuership. Instead of carping, others should follow their example. I think Dr. MM Singh realises this, that is why he is admired in Tamil Nadu also.

OK, i take your argument. Why not other 15 MPs who have experience in politics become ministers ? Let him drop Kanimozhi, Azhagiri and Dayanidhi.
Every one in TN now would be laughing on Karuna the old trash, what he has gained by bargaining for ministerial posts for his children? Now he has lost the one he had on his head, as well as under his arm. " Thalaila irrunthathum pochu, kakathilla vachathum pochu" !! What a fate !! How this old man going to face the public of TN now?
I am also proud of APJ Abdul Kalam. It doesn’t matter wheather he is a Tamil or Kashmiri.APJ is a great son of mother India. But how come this writer address miss Mamata Banerjee as---“Bengal's drama queen” ? It seems that this writer is also as detached as the CPI(M)in West Bengal who called her all these and faced the music through the people’s verdict. This writer has no idea about miss Mamata Banerjee’s s present status and feelings in the minds and hearts of the people in West Bengal. Its a pity that REDIFF retains this type of writers to write for them.

Yes, stop subsidising for minorities for haj, amend reservations based on richest, rich, middle class and poor, uniform civil code, cut hands those who are corrupt (like in saudi arabia) or stonning them in public, or give publicly 20 thrases with thorn cane, (similar that of singapore rule) on bare butts, whether men or women. If this is implemented, who would get the most no: of thrashes? Any comments?
