using caste in surname is very common in the north. I also feel it is not wrong to have the caste name in ur surname. The trouble starts when u start discriminating. but in TN even without the caste name in the surname people know who is from which caste and start discriminating. I am also a tamil.
Alagiri is a rowdy element and has many criminal records- becuase his father is the CM, allthe cases have been dropped / weakened - Now he will sit in equal footing with Pranab, Singh, other veters- Is this what you want ,Congress- better break the allinace, have it with ADMK, offer her 2-3 ministers, withdraw support to TN govt, come clean, DMK is not a good party to support, MK is a sinking ship, his only interest is his family, he is reported to be worth Rs 2000 crores, Insitute CBI enquiry

hi JJ, Do you think Amma is good and has corrupt free members? Ask her to leave Sasi's gang. Did not they amaze wealth? Both are corrupt but atleast this guy does some development not the development in paper alone.

MK and ADMK Amma are both corrupt. For a change they should try this new guy, poor man's Rajnikant, i.e. Vijaikant. Heard that this guy spent his entire savings from film acting into running for this election and spoiled the chance of Amma's party.

Uncle if you have two or three wifes it does not matter me. only your governace. Is it important to chennai whether Jayalalitha is married or not? Think sensibly. Each one has his own freedom in his private life till it does not affects other one's freedom. Does karuna's marriage to many ppl affected u or anyone like he married you guys lover?

i am not getting angry. When Jayalalitha told that US economy went down because of Chidambaram i felt what people we got, i thought she is making use of innocence of rural people. But the people who knows something about internet, news, government itself talking about who is husband and who is keep. that's why i got angry. Please be grown up.
DMK is a corrupt, muscle-powered party with the sole aim of enhancing the fortunes of their leader's dynasty. The demands made for ministries and the number of berths in cabinet/council this time around - take the cake, the baker and the bakery too!!!
Shameless parading of dynasty politics and power. I congratulate Dr. Manmohan Singh for the way he stood up to these DMK crooks.
I think the country can do without top class dacoits like A Raja and TR Baalu. TR Baalu was Union Minister of Surface Transport for Tamil Nadu. A port like Haldia almost went out of business due to heavy silting of the sea/river bed - but the minister would just not move.
A Raja : crook in heart,mind, spirit and action. Look at the way he screwed aroung with the 3G auction. Its horrifying.
Dr. MMS has sent a clear message across this time - and its good he did this at the start itself. No blackmail, no counter pushes and pulls, etc by allies.
I hope TN wakes up to the truth of its great DMK party. Not that the alternatives are any better. The ADMK is another corrupt den headed by their great Amma.

Read your story. In the last two previous regimes of AIADMK and DMK we saw few development works in Chennai in DMK rule only. I accept i need to see the whole TamilNadu. Its not only leg or hand can grow and not the whole body. But atleast atleast this guy is doing something good for chennai people even if he eats or his family eats. Do you have people like ABDUL KALAM ALL OVER INDIA? What about Jayalalitha. For each and every new schemes they would spend money like anything for its inaugration and after that what happened to it???? Next when you speak about dynasty rule, what is happening in Congress ? Even if BJP comes to rule for 10 years won't Advani's family member wont come into this? Does not in Karnataka no family member is in politics ? Does not in AP family politcs is there? Does not in Orissa family politics is there? Does not in Rajasthan, Mumbai, Kashmir family politics is there? OPEN YOUR EYES AND WRITE RUBBISH STORIES. I will vote for DMK as far they do development for Chennai. Indian if you are living in Tamil Nadu and if you know the type of person, the son of MK from Madurai, you will not write like that. Such people should not become ministers at the Centre. I appreciate MMS for resisting the attempts of MK and group.

Hi AH, I am not telling MK's son from Madurai is a good one. Do you think Lalu, Ram vilas paswan, Joker club (Mulayam singh yadav & amarsingh), Sibu Soren background are very good??? In TN congress people don't have common rapport within their party itself, Jayalalitha event though she is good in her language and commanding ability but don't knw administration. But Karuna is far better than those people. We need development which he bought here. His second son Stalin is far better than his first's son. But again we don't have option. At the same time Azhagiri nt getting cabinet post i am not feeling sad for it. Its good only. I want a good administration at centre let Manmohan give it. Its good for all of us. But in this forum everyone were talking about dynasty rule. For that only i just wanted to tell. If any one is doing good and his family members also doing good means won't you accept dynasty ?? See we have to change, we have to start asking questions till then we have to get corrupt-good minded politicians assembly only.GOD SAVE INDIA.

Yes MK has bought great development to state. He is taking us to stone age by making us live in a world without electricity. Do you understand the meaning of Administration? We were a power surplus state once, because of MK administration we are living in dark. He has also demonstrated amazing admin skills in handling Hokenakal issue, 3 ppl burned in Dinakaran Madurai Office, Law college riot, indefinite hunger strike....Can you tell me one issue were he has taken a firm stand? He is a sin which our state should get rid off sooner.

Ok we get rid off him. Who is there next to do atleast thses things? Do you think Vijayakanth will lead good. I heared my father saying that even MGR was strict when he came to rule at first time. But after that the people with him made him go corrupt. Same for Vijayakanth. he should have lost 50% of wealth by this time. Think he comes to power and what he will do? Next do you think Jaya will do good for Chennai or TN ? Only in paper advertisements the schemes would be and not in reality. We have got of lots of industries coming around Chennai that's a good sign for development. (Again only Chennai is developing i accept, but atleast this develops). Even during Jaya's regime a bus was burnt when few students were inside. See here its not who is good. Here who is showing some good development. So now also you are not having good power?

If you are in chennai you should have been blindfolded. Did you see Kathipara Junction. Have been using daily ? if you are coming from Tambaram into chennai daily it takes only 5 to 10 minutes. Think if the bridge has not been built i have to take 25 minutes. Whether this is not infrastructure ? Infrastructure means DOES HE HAS TO BUILD A HOUSE OR ANYTHING TO YOU SELFISH PIG?

This is an absolutely spot on column. What Dr. KK should realize is that he did not get 18 seats in Tamilnadu because he is the most popular or some such rubbish. He should realize that the people voted him in because most educated middle class believe that the UPA has the best economic team to handle the current economic recession and incidentally Dr. KK was in the UPA. Now by shamelessly putting his family above the state and the nation Dr. is only denying the people of the state the much needed development which will happen (hopefully though if it is someone like the recent IT Minister or the shipping chap that too will not happen) if we have a couple of ministers from the state in the Union Cabinet. Long live Dr. and his family.
