Yes , i fully agree - a statesman like Kalam cannot be compared with a 420 like MK, Jaya has told on more than one occasion that MK came with a pipe ( shenoy ) to Madras and now he is worth abt 2- 3000 crores, Kalam gives whatever he got to charity , keeping minimum for him - it is a disgrace to compare both

Why don't you ask Mani Shankar Aiyer and Shiv Shankar Menon the same questions? Read the content clearly. Karunanidhi is a thug, who is selfish and ready to sacrifice the entire Tamil community for his family.
Good to see ganesh nadar write this coloumn. Just a few questions araise after reading this on account of promoting his children. Who is Sonia / Rahul gandhi. They are from political dynasty. Most of doctors siblings are doctors. Most of the businessmans siblings continue to do the business after their father. So most of the politicians are promoting thier hiers. There is nothing wrong in doing that. Just need to see the benifits we will enjoy if the ministries demanded by Dr.K comes to us. For sure it will benifit TN.

Well Said! definitely speaks the truth on the DMK government I often wondered if DMK stood for Dr M Karunanidhi and Sons Kazhagam...
Remember the CM was the one responsible for changing the date of Tamil New Years day which has been celebrated for 2000 years in April and suddenly woke up on a fine day and declared an alternate date (mid January) for Tamil New Years Day...
He was the one who questioned if Lord Rama ever went to an Engineering college to build dams...thus hurting the sentiments of many...
Not to mention the crores of money he and his family members get to swindle every time he sends a family member to the cabinet...
He never works for the Nation but only works for his family...alright, but at whose expense...why use the government funds to ensure that his family memebers are well settled???
He is taking advantage of the patience and tolerance levels of people in TN...Hope TN teaches him a good lesson in the next assembly elections...

No one is worried about this in Tamil Nadu.. This is land of Periyar (Tamil Social Reformer).. God bashing is very common in TN for the past 50 years (particularly by Tamil Nadu).. Pls know something about TN.. Here, no one like Saffron politics.. Everyone supports Karunanidhi in that matter (except brahmin)..

you can give 100 points against Karunanidhi.. but there are 1000 points against Jayalalitha.. Just come to chennai and witness the bridges and parks DMK governmnet has built in past 3 years.. Chennai looks great now.. It still developing...
Karunanaidhi may be a Kalaigner and for the present the most popular politician in TN. The fact that TN, under Kalaignar's rule, has turned out to be one of the most corrupt States in the nation, if not the the most corrupt one, is very clear to anyone in the State. We justifiably criticize the Congress Party as supporting the Nehru/Gandhi family dynasty. What about the DMK? It is even worse giving a free hand to its leader to place many of his relatives in important positions in the Party and the State administration. Why is there not a public hue and cry about it? The party has been able to do so by promising all kinds of give-aways to the electorate at the time of the elections and silencing any opposition. The K family has amassed a vast amount of fortune during the DMK rule. He is truly a Kalaigner, a good artiste, in creating a masterly deceitful tapestry.
An open investigation into the wealth of the K family will, I am certain, leave him as the greatest cheat the State has seen.
great gopinath what u said is right u can see 144 fly over bridges in all parts of tamilnadu in 4 lane roads to avoid traffic in chennai madurai and bangalore kanyakumari highways .eack bridge is costing 10 - 40 crores .this happened in lst 4 years because of DMK In central
