Problem of BJP and Cho
by Prashant Mardolkar on May 20, 2009 05:07 PM  | Hide replies

They both want us to believe that BJP lost becoz all these reasons, which Mr Cho eleborated,
Real reason BJP lost is 4/5 th of Hindus living in India did not vote for it, They dont want politics of BJP kind.
Sooner both realise this better it will be for them and country

India needs revolution of development
by mukul shukla on May 20, 2009 05:03 PM  | Hide replies

The way people fought with britishers, we again need to make a revolution in the country for development. for that we need to first stop accusing govt. and start acccepting our responsiblity. The Govt. should make it compulsory for all the schools in India to study one regional language along with english and hindi in all hindi speaking states. it is very much evident that people of all other states study three languages than why not northern region people. I m from UP and i feel that when we all will start studying three languages, the national harmony will increase and people like karuna nidhi and raj thakre will vanish from the political scenario. Now we all should put pressure on govt to take its responsiblity and increse the infrastructure for preliminary education if we really want to live in a developed nation.

Atleast Manmohan never praised Jinnah ..Advani worshipped the tombstone of Jinnah ..he could have done that with great Muzlim leaders like Maulana Abul Kalam Azad or Abdul Gaffar Khan instead of the traitor and bastar Jinnah if he wanted to appease Muzlims

I agree with Mr. Abhishekh Bhardwaj
by Asim Mehtani on May 20, 2009 04:58 PM  | Hide replies

I agree with Mr. Abhishekh Bhardwaj. When you are lost, the unnecessary reasons are found, like the media is trying to find out ! If you analyse the whole election, then the Muslim votes have gone to Congress irrespective of any candidate stood by the Congress. That's why Congress was able to increase its tally in UP. This clearly indicates to keep the BJP out of power at any cost. Where they thought, that BSP or SP are stronger, they went for BSP or SP. Yes middle class has a problem in casting their votes, but one cannot deny the fact, that middle class are the utmost sufferer. On 18.05.09, how the stock market rosed, as it appeared that within 2 days the economic recession is finished. The rich has become more rich, poor have become more poor, but the middle class is hanging like a pendulam.

He would but he doesnt deserve
by RB on May 20, 2009 04:58 PM  | Hide replies

Some appreciate him that he is a great leader and he has revived Congress in UP on its own. Some others also say that he is not power hungry and not keen on getting into cabinet.
While all this is true, but the fact remains that the success he is able to fetch in is only because the last name in his name "Gandhi". When he goes to UP with all his caravan and Z plus security people are bound to attracted towards him. People would keen on establishing links with him becase after all he is a Gandhi.
But when a normal man goes to village with a good intetion to do some thing, people make a mockery instead of appreciating.
Congress is a party based on dynasty rule and sycophancy. Red tapism is prevalent and most of the leaders go flat on Gandhis family knees (whether they are worth it or not).
There are young leaders in the party. But can someone count how many of those young leaders have come on their own and how many of them are there due to their fathers or relatives.
BJP does not have dynasty rule and so their leaders come on their own.
While congress leaders are foreign educated, handsome, rich. And that is why people are attracted towards them.

Agreed that Advani is communal to an extent, but hats off to this man because he is the one who gave Congress leaders a run for their money. Till 1990, people used to vote for Congress blindly. Even donkeys used to win.
And today you hear Rahul Gandhi travelled 87000 kms to campaign.
You know whome to thank.

In 2014 there will be no opposition party in Parliament
by Radha Krishnan on May 20, 2009 04:49 PM  | Hide replies

BJP is almost dead and will not be there in 2014 when Rahulji become Priministerof India. All other parties like SP, BSP, JD(U), BJD, AIDMK & TDP will support congress. So there will not be any opposition party in India.

CHO is not congress chamcha
by ramesh iyer on May 20, 2009 04:48 PM  | Hide replies

I hv known cho for the past 30 years. All you guys who are calling cho as congress chamcha are real idiots. he is an ardent hindutva supporter but he is also extremely matured to know when you lose and accept it rather than these bjpalalahs who didn't accept the 04 verdict and again doing the same for 09 too. If it did not analyse properly the reasosn for its defeat they will once again fail in 2014. all you guys who are more vocal are the real enemies of bjp. you are not allowng it to listen to the silent majority who speak in silent whispers but your screams drown the whispers and bjp thinks you idiots are the real voice of india and acts foolishly.

we need a strong opposition for india to progress.please give it a break for india's sake and bjp sake
