LKA, BJP and RSS Does not need to learn patriotism for you
Your language to use cheap word against LKA shows the slum where you belong. You dont like him but he is a national hero of 70 crore nationlists who voted for him
means people india.but the bitter truth was well honoured and intellegant common people is above the petty sanghe idealism. LET BJP AND RSS TO HIDE IN THEIR HOLES

Those Rediff jokers wasted our time too - Rediff is 7th most viewed site in India!
Actually, if the Govt starts sucking the blood of the rural Indian to fill pockets of the urban investor (who is not an urban *Indian*, mind you) there might be a really big drama in store.
Poverty in Africa is bad. Poverty in India is actually almost as bad - and guess what - it is right next to you and me!
Technology that helps both urban and rural India must be the focus of the Govt's technology policy.

I think the author is a bit confused. This is not a revival of congress. Congress can not be revived with Gandi family. They need to bring up leaders and make them confident enough to criticise.
What we see today is a polarisation and good for India. A two party system is evolving. On an average less than 50% voted in India. and almost 70-80% of minorites voted. Now the congress was able to secure all the minority vote bank. That is where you saw the failure of Laloo, Mulayam, Mayavati, Paswan etc. They were all minority carriers and congress beat them all.
BJP was still holding all of it's seats. So Hindu vote bank is strong as it is.
The following things helped congress
1. People's vengeance against Communism. 2. DMK strategy in Tamilnadu 3. TDP and PRP disaster in Andhra (vote split) 4. Mayavati's vote bank split in UP 5. Failure of RJD,LJP,SP disaster
The following failed BJP
1. BJD's walkout 2. Didn't get alliances 3. Media was against 4. No Hindu feelings
Congress didn't do well in all BJP ruled states and BJP didn't do well in congress or else ruled states. All other third front and 4th front parties did their best to kill BJP whereever they are not strong enough by joining hands with congress.

I don't think Congress's revival has anything to do with the Gandhi dynasty, but the faith of people on Dr. Manmohan Sing.

the majority community is a lazy beast and should be kicked in its pants to vote the next time.a proper electoral analysis of voting patterns will bring out the truth .the gandhi family is not to be blamed if the spineless congress cannot elect anyone else as their leaders .without the gandhi family the congress will disintegrate.
On religion language north-south basis Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces. It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule. Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.
Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.
The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.
The Congress was never a centrist outfit. In fact, the Jan Sangh, later the BJP, was founded because of the pro-Muslim stance advanced by Nehru that alienated the Hindus. The Congress is voted into power by minority vote banks and illiterate Hindus who somehow mistakenly relate the dynasty to MK Gandhi. The BJP defeat stems from the fact that it reacted to the 'communal' label of the media and tried to adjust, thereby losing its traditional votebank without winning new voters.
expected that Indian voter is suicidal. After the results, so many views are expressed. But note how Rahul Gandhi was going around with a begging bowl, praising Naidu, Amma, Nitish.
Slowly the people of this great nation are decoding the mentalities of these power hungry politicians who do anything to capture power. With the way BJP is getting decimating ,I see BJP going back to the figures they had back in 80's .

haha even i been think about it yes dats for sure bjpee goin to dissolve soon
Congress wanted to share seats with RJD and others but they in turn humiliated Congress. In Kerala, the voters bestow their favor alternately to Congress and Left as they want best from both. But in West Bengal, the TMC benefited from the mistake of Prakash Karat and it was TMC who was benefited and not the Congress. In future, in west Bengal, Congress will have to be satisfied with remaining subservient to TMC. Congress will understand that Mamata understands absolute control of her own and not sharing of power. She had been treating senior party leaders like her personal servant and who ever tried to function independently were humiliated.
This election results has proved it again that India is still far away from becoming the fully developed and 100% literate country, even this time country has elected many politicians who have tainted background.
It seems like people of India are happy with increased grocery costs, heavy power cuts.
