India must practice less party system in future
by abboral boral on May 18, 2009 06:09 PM  | Hide replies

I am glad that 2009 election has shown the seeds of very few party system in India like in 60 s but the difference is that in 60s only few parties dare to enter politics as their career except INC who was a 100 years old party and was engaged in freedom movement of India and was a natuaral choice as a rular after 1947 .Congress ruled mostly ignorant ,illiterate underdeveloped India upto 1990 .Then came the liberisation in 1991 by Dr Manmohan Singh under able leadership of late PM p>v>Narsimha Rao and suddenly India started all round development and reached to a state now where India virtually dominating world economy .The only casualty is a multy party system and coalition politics emerged with great obstacle to development further .2009 has given a very clear signal of less party as only two major party like Congress and BJP has emerged with two clear seperate idiology of the two parties but on a common goal of India developments .Indian voters are now developed ,intellegent, litterate so a warning signal also coming for these two major parties that they should not take easy to Indian people now

60,000 crores tax money down the drain in the name of farmers, in spite of lefties breathing down the congress necks in the last years. Now, no one left to breathe so just watch money thrown left, right and centre down the drains

Media has always over-estimated BJP and under-estimated Congress not only this time but last time too. Still BJP Wala says Media is Pro-Congress. Media has given too much importance to Modi and Varun.Neither Modi nor varun increased the voteshare of BJP in their home-turf.

Banke Bihari Ji.....Meia is always pro-congress....I'm not a supporter of BJP either but Media is always pro-congress and why they never gave importance to Modi and Varun...they only portrayed them as evils and did the damage to BJP and benefitted the congress. Think laterally

then what is logic behind Congress success in Punjab? people have forgotten 1984. they see MM Singh now. 84 was an outrage(ofcourse an equally evil one) of the indian people against the murder of Indira who tried to save the nation frm terrorists among sikhs. If she had not risked her life, punjab would already be foreign for india with troubles as big as pak n POK. anyway.. sikhs n congress might have realised their own mistakes n have joined hands now. n y to go back to 84 when many of the voters were not even born? whereas hindu-muslim(now even christians, dalits, etc.) tensions have been maintained fresh for last 100 years by the Sangha folks that the bjp is all about.

If Sikh has apologized to congress. Why do you cry for B.J.P? Everybody may do a mistake. If they could accept and avoid to do the same in the future then people will forget that pain. Do the same in godhra, Mumbai, Kandahar, Mangalore. Avoid and remove terrorists from B.J.P. Then people will accept BJP

'Centre' is not seen as only an economic term here. it is more of the 'Majjhim Marg' of Buddha that led to congress victory.

Good leaders to be elected for the New Parliament
by satish bhatla on May 18, 2009 05:49 PM

A strong Congress government at the centre appears to be a near certainty. Hope that the new Government shall give good, calm & faithful representatives that are the good combination of youth as well as experienced Leaders (see if they can get rid of leaders like Arjun Singh, Paswan, Maya, Mulayam and Lalu). I hope that the up-coming leaders will definitely restore as well as increase INDIA's GAURAV. BJP should pass on the mantle to younger members who are more broad minded - like Atalji. Modi can be effective only at the state level. It should also become more inclusive to attract more support from the public. As far as my opinion (being an INDIAN) is concerned, The Party name is totally regardless & irrelevant subject to our Politics is in the Public Interest & far away as far as the word "CORRUPTION" is concerned.

We are happy that UPA will get the majority & will not be dependent on the Regional parties. In fact, we require only two good parties at the national level like in USA. The regional parties should not be able to dictate terms to the Central Leadership. Stability has been there in the progress of the Country. It is very essential for the Country and also for the Governance to work without any hassle. We all let us predict in the Interest of our own Country. Vande Matram...
