UPA won not because it is the best party or a secular party. I personally feel any party which is either pro Hindu or pro muslim can not or should not be called secular. I am secular because I judge people based on their characters and integrity not on the basis of their religion, cast, or countries of origin--I do not like Sonia because I do not get the feeling that she loves India.
UPA won because of large population of illiterate in India who can easily be manipulated by cast, religion or dynasty factor. Another reason was that they attacked Dr. Manmohan Singh who is a sincere and hard working. Although I also feel that he was and will be weak PM--a puppet should I say.

MMS is not honest. He kept corrupt people in Cabinet. He bought MPs for his govt survival. Still you people call him honest? And what is so grat about N-deal,his only considered achievement. It was manipulated by media.Pl find out how much his govt spent propagating N-deal in media. Then you know. BJP lost becoz of Advani. TDP lost because it supported separate Telangana.

why dont you and the rest of YOUTHFUL Indians take of your BIASED lenses and take a more pragmatic approach......I think offering reservation on caste and religon (as promised by many parties including SECULAR CONGRESS is communal), Filing an affadavit questioning the existense of lord Rama is communal (filed by SECULAR CONGRESS course and its ally DMK head course went on to question the very idea of lord RAMA)...............I think when CONGRESS gave 1984 riots accused SAJJAN UMARS BROTHER thr ticket to contest....thats communal(oh btw his brother won from delhi), I think our PM thundering (never knew he could THUNDER) that MUSLIMS of India have the first right to resources well pardon me but I really wont call it Secular...what about a CROSS on the indian coin????? indianrealist(dot)files(dot)wordpress(dot)com/2009/04/10rupee-coin3(dot)jpg

yes...terming victory as secular victory is a bit exaggeration.
BJP in not professional in marketing itself. Congress has won because there is no alternative. 40% people have voted. Money flowed like river. Media acted like government servants.

Now AP congress has got almost equal opposition.so to pass any bill will be much difficult because some of the congress MLA\'s also oppose few bills then it will be difficult for congress.earlier the opposition has got only 47 now it is more than 130 MLA\'s.

I don't get it. Why telangana ppl are so innocent and intimidated. Don't they read news papers, watch news channels and understand local issues. Two prominent news papers and channels aired 24/7 news about corruption and rowdyism in the state sponsored by congress party, but what hapnd.... nothing. Ppl seem to think others too worst to vote. now stop this congress backed telangana statehood and concentrate on real issues

Every media is owned by overseas Christian organisations.It was difficult to believe but the Election coverage by TV Media is prooving the point. BUT NOW IT IS PROVED BEYOND DOUBT. (1)No TV Media aired the News on the suicide of Senior Vadhera. If any such death had happened in the family of a BJP person, the Media would have gone agog with the news. (2)Teestha Setalwad was exposed of creating most of the Gujarat Riot Stories and in fact taken the Supreme court almost for a ride.Imagine a similar offence by the opposite side.There would have been discussions,hen fights,opinion polls and SMS surveys.
The MEDIA OF THIS DECADE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR AGES TO COME. IT IS A BLOT ON JOURNALISM.
Is there any Indian who will lodge a criminal case on Testha Setalwad for her crimes against the communal harmony of this country
