Much is made out of Rahul factor. The % seats won where he campaigned is not much different from where he did not campaign.
As they say, statistics is like bikini that reveals a lot but conceal the precious parts.

I fully agree. This is hype created by media and the sycophants in the congress. Wonder why they are not giving any credit to Priyanka Gandhi.
Since the election results came out, the whole media is agog with speculation about Rahul becoming PM sooner or later. This does not bode well for the country. We need someone who is well educated, experienced and balanced in his views and actions to become PM. Definitely Sri P V Narasmha Rao and Sri A B Vajpayee were people of such stature, commanding respect. Rahul is being thought of as future PM more because he hails from the Nehru family than for any other attributes. Let him mature and be counted alongwith other less fortunate youngsters who are capable otherwise, to lead the country as PM. Our manipulative political system may perhaps not allow for such fair practices.

Rahul got his BA from Harvard. What more education do you want? He comes across as a sober, articulate young man. What were the educational qualifications of Vajpayeeji?

Rahul is definitely not a 'BA' and if you still do not know the educational qualifications of Mr Vajpayee, please at least desist from making a comment about it.

Yes, this is True. He(Rahul Gandhi) was caught by US smuggling drugs along with his columbian girl friend. But Indian embassy intervened and he was let off.
"the 76-year-old British-educated economist who is known as a safe pair of hands", is attributed to Dr. Manmohan Singh. True. A good wicketkeeper needs to have safe pair of hands. But, is he just a wicket keeper?
With regard to Rahul, good, the young man has worked rather hard and rather late too. His efforts have brought in some good results for his party.
However, the P.M. of this country has to be somebody more mature, experienced, one who understands politics, democracy, the law, the ethos of the country and the one who can make the citinzenry and armed forces feel safe and proud of him. He has to put in a lot many years before becoming the P.M. Though, I must say, any handsome looking young man like Rahul would surely be a great welcome change. But, think of the country aa a whole, not just at the dimples, friends. Lets not get recommendations and endorsements of what is good or bad for our country, from anyone oversease. Let it spring from within the country, from the country's dominant and intelligent political parties.
He says he will try to get better political system for our country. He should first think about people like azarudin in his party who has been proven that he sold the national pride for the sake of money in cricket are these people worth in our political system or are we heading for the same kind of politics which was exsisting previously

Yes! This time the number of congress seats is also good. So Rahul is unlikely to be troubled by the job of keeping Govt alive. Since Congress has won, it is better to take the credit and be the PM. Had it lost, Manmohan Singh could have been given the entire discredit. Rahi baat Manmohan Singhji ki, he has already undergone bypoass surgery thrice nad can comfortably booted out citing the health reasons. Rahul should do it because you never know how many seats will come in the next election.
according to my view rahul shoul make it public that no cabinet post for him at centre rather he shoul wish that people of UP will allow him to be ther CM first similarly priyanka should target bihar. it will take 3 to 5 years but than congress as a party will become strongly established in INDIA. u see people of UP AND behar will feel proud.

So get ready to be ruled by the dynasty and see Indian money being sent to Swiss Banks yet again. And see CBI helping these morons to get rid of the cases like Quatrochhi, Tytler and Mulayam's disproportionate assets.

anand yes true. one day, after coming back from 10 janpath, he will suddenly put his hand on the chest and go home. next day he will say doctors have advised him not to exert so unfortunately he has to make way for someone.
than the madame will tell all the sycophants to start their band of rahul for PM....etc.
all this is so common in this corrupt party that ppl know exaclty what they will do when and why

Yes! This aged sardarji has already undergone bypass surgery thrice. He is by himself not able to win a lok sabha election, so Rahul just has to decide when he wants to have this job.

That is what I and my friends were discussing a few days back. That is bound to happen. We Indians are destined to be ruled and not governed.
