Hey did you guys know that-

1. India is the fastest growing economy in the world. It was China until now with 10%, but now due to recession their growth rate have reduced to 6%. India had growth rate of around 8%, now it is 7.2%, the fastest in the world.

2. Dr. Manmohan Singh is the most qualified PM ever in the world.

3. RBI has been termed as the best banking system in the world.

4. More than half of the worlds computer graduates are from India.

Do you think sensex will see surge on Monday because of return of government? I think it will be surge of more than 300 points.

One more good news is that Government accounts will now be managed on accrual basis and not on cash basis.

My only concern is the non-availability of any regulation in real estate. If that is done, than India will be the most regulated and monitored economy.

This time, Manmohan Singh should prove he is very independent in his decisions as PM and keep all other ministers under his control. People of India rightly or wrongly have chosen UPA to govern for another term which does not mean that all their past performance is accepted as electoral arithmatic has proved to be a different ball game and even Congress did not expect to win with such a majority; proof for the same was witnessed when they were trying to woo every other Tom Dick and Harry to support them to form the Govt. before the results. Rising prices, terrorism, corruption are all there in place although the media tries to give an impression that all is well with UPA and their past performance. It is still a wonder and an enigma as to how the Congress and its allies got the majority, whey they themselves did not expect it. BJP has indeed exhibited its magnanimity in gracefully acceptingt the defeat. Better luck to them next time.

can somebody explain what is communal about these demands?
by harish kulkarni on May 17, 2009 05:13 PM  | Hide replies

1. Abolition of Article 360 that gives special status to J&K
- Everybody saya Jammu & Kashmir is integral part of India, if so, then why special status? Even the famed RTI (Right To Information) Act is not applicable to J&K!!! As an Indian, am i not empowered to seek infor about J&K? if it is integral part of India?

2. Uniform Civil Code
- As citizens of India, irrespective of our relegion, what is wrong in having Uniform Civil Code in the national interest? like we do in schools, colleges, & offices

3. Ban Cow Slaughter
-Yes, for a Hindu, Cow is very sacred, Cow is god. But apart from relegion, A Cow is also the backbone of our Rural Economy. 100s of thousands of family depend on a cow.Whatever a Cow throws out, is useful for Human being & Agriculture.

These are absolutely secular demands that were criticized only due to Votebank Politics.
Now, can somebody help me understand how these demands are communal, as criticized by so called secular parties?

Not fool people Indian people are fool.
And those who f00l them are actually taking advantage of their foolishness.
nothing wrong if these f00ls do not wish to be fooled around.
These people should learn to stand for them self and not look at others.
Standing their with hands clasped is not something that is going to help them.
They should educate themselves and learn to reason and not follow others like sheep's.
Until then fools will be fools and advantage takers will take advantage.
Lot of nhot air was blown against Congress and Gandhi, but the result indians still vote for congress and the Gandhi's.
SO WHY BLAME THEM IF YOU THE PUBLIC HAVE CHOSEN THEM DEMOCRATICALLY LEAD THE COUNTRY.
