QandA QandA
Congratulations to Manmohan Singh's Congress...
by QandA QandA on May 18, 2009 07:31 PM

An abosolute majority speaks for many reasons why the Congress won and looks like "Communal Harmony" was the dominant agenda.

Apart from media looks like Markets were also responsible aly in the victory of the party..

Looks like Cities as well as villages were bagged by the Congress.. That speaks of the state of mind of the people and their expectations..

So let the Constructive Criticism begin now...

More than the opposition but not a victory
by prosperousindia on May 18, 2009 07:29 PM

UPA has scored more than the opposition but not scored a victory. Cong alone has improved its tally but nowhere near the pass mark. BJP and cong both have failed in the exam but Cong has scored more than BJP. Congrats ! do better next time.

Validation of Democracy
by Shankar Eppoor on May 18, 2009 07:27 PM

A good piece of article written from the comfort ofg Air conditioned room, without knowing India's complexity. They have hailed the decimation of Jayalalithaa and euphimistically parised Karunanidhi, who has amassed wealth for another ten generations. This shows about the maturity and nowledge of those who had written this article from USA. oOnly in India it can happen like some Athenian Blockheads' half baked comments.

American Looting
by mailme alladin on May 18, 2009 07:25 PM

Good Chance for American Business to loot India. There will be no opposition for the looting.
As a first step, the sensex raised by 2K in a single day. Now common people will put money and soon they will run away with all those money.

If Voting was done 100% or may be 80% the gov would have been different so please do not be so happy on this verdict.

Accept your defeat gracefully, there can be a lot of "IF and BUTS" but the fact of the matter is that BJP has lost the election........

I am using my common sense so I said but I think you are not because the people of this country are still not aware about the power of voting. The people they do not what mistake they did they will realize this......

So, what are you gonna do? Kill all the people who voted? Carry out riots? Accept your defeat and sit on the opposition benches for the next 10 years.
