The result was the outcome of arrogancy on the part of Budhha alias Budhhu. If you have destroyed the culture of industrialization by closing down 55000 factories over the last 32 years, how come you expect to start industrialization by forcing farmers to give their land? He could have done in a proper way (like he had done for Salboni's Jinda plant

Rectifying? To go for industrialisation,no one needs to do "secret trade".It was just to allow the tatas to do business of buying and selling lands.

If you think Mamata will lead West Bengal to glory, you are wrong. She does not know whether she's coming or going. Subrata Mukherjee will have for breakfast, lunch & Dinner, day in & day out. I, as a well wisher of people of West bengal only hope that something good comes out this and W.B. can get out the rut

where is prakash Karat? we don't want to see his face. He is a traitor of this countray and can't effort to carry him instead we should throw him to Bay of Bengal to find space in China.
Left and their misrule have broken and virtually killed one generation of young brain last 30 years .Stats shows that never ever young minds and brains of west bengal could stand on their own due to
1.1947 to 1966 ==people of Bengal suffered due to partisan .Some 3 to 4 lakh people of Bengal died due to riot, hunger ,illhealth ,no shelter and nearly 50 lkah people suffered due to displacement in undivided Bengal 2. 1966 to 1978 --thousands of most brainiest young mind in the world will killed due to naxalism ,so no development in Bengal 3.32 years of misrule in Bengal by left parties killed the aspirations of thousands young minds again
So I can conclude that the pillar of human being that is young brain of west bengal could never stand on their feet due to above reason so how west bengal will stand in development .Try to understand the logic
So time has now come to throw the left and left policies to bay of bengal forever and people should not carried away for this win rather they should work for development only .West Bengal has lost enough brains last 60 years but still brains are available to show the world that they can change the things for world of good for WB

Rightly said. Instead of engaging in political rivalry, Mamata & Co should concentratre in all round development of Bengal and recapture the glory the Bengal had over rest of India. Then only the victory should serve meaningful purpose. This Bandh & Jhantudar Jhanda culture must be thrown away and radical changes to be brought.
Change is most welcome. But I would wish that the winners should respect the people's mandate and undo whatever the reds had undone of Bengal. Bengal needs to do a lot of catch-up with the rest of the country

The ned of the hour of the people of W.B. TO THROW THE COMMUNISTS INTO THE DUST BIN AND MAKE STRONG THE HANDS OF MAMTA FOR THE REAL PROGRESS OF BENGAL WHICH THE COMMUNISTS PREVENTED FROM DOING SO .BUT,AT THE SAME TIME MAMTA SHOULD SHOW HER MATURITY ACTING AS A SEASOSEND POLITCIAN AS PEAOPLE OF BENGAL EXPECTS A LOT FROM HER.
I would have preferred to have the CPM with the Congress. Fact is, even when they were with the Congress, CPM played the role of a good constructive opposition.
Thanks, Mr. Karat, for stabbing the Congress in the back and inflicting Mamata on us. You have destroyed the CPM and achieved what Congress could not do in 30 years and would not in another 100 years. His personal hatred and jealousy of MMS has successfully destroyed WB.
I don't think Karat is a Chinese stooge - I think he is a BJP stooge.
Our communists are anti-growth.SO no need of looking at china.See the dilapidated buses running in kolkata.Including the auto's run on kata tel(poisonous coctail of petrol naptha).See the unionised bus drivers mowing down the general public and escaping.See the unionised hospital employees giving extremely shabby service. No industry and existing industry closed due to unions.Bankrupt land acquitision policy where government and its goons purchasing land forcibly for peanuts developing the land at state cost and profiting from it.So left and communist are dead in india and would be dead in west bengal within few years.

No need to expect something out of the moon from TMC, my dear. It can be just for a change, the change will happen. No surprise to be expected from them either. Hopeless situation for WB. Both side fo the coin is dark.

Jyoti Basu did not vote. I realized that's the fate by nature...he created and he finished.
Wher are Mr.& Mrs karat? I want to see their shameless faces, even knowing that by seeing their faces i will spoil my day, may be i won't get food to eat today, still I want to see their faces. Prakash was dreaming to become PM? Let him try to become PM of China.

very correct, how about miss mayawati who was also dreaming to become PM by forming a chandal chaukri with karat and party.

Sudip, I have posted many of my messages. You may have seen them. However, for your sake, here goes a summary: 1 - People's mandate must be respected. 2 - Mr Manmohan Singh must be congratulated for being only the third Indian Prime Minister (after Nehru and Indira) to win an election while in office 3 - The defeat of the left in West Bengal is largely due to the ineptness of the left leadership as they failed to convince the people of their point. Also, the decision of Mr Karat to withdraw support to the UPA govt did not go down well with the people. Please remember that a man who believes in the Left ideology may not support the actions of the individual left leaders!

Mr Roy I agrre to your points. But one point you have missed out.People have understood that these commies can never go for industrialisation and can only do "trade secret" to actually allow the industrialists to do land business by selling land at a very higher price than buying price to so called anciliery units. This lies have been sensed by the common man now and they cannot be fooled any more.

Problem is that some people cannot speak without making nasty personal comments. I may go to all places where I can, but it appears that you have no other business but to make nasty paersonal comments!

Dear Mr. Roy, Left Ideology is in the mind of romantics like you & lot other who had been nuturing this for ages but not delivering. The Left Bosses & their progeny never went hungry or ill educated. I mean ill educated, not un educated,'cos being illiterate is much better than poory educated.
The reversal does not sugur well for West Bengal with low quality leaders of TMC. Maybe left will learn their lesson this time & come back stronger, throwing their defunct idealogy in the dustbin.

I post this message in the hope that you may read it, though it is too late in the day now - I left for my lunch and leisure before you posted the above message. Dear Sir, I have not ever indulged in personal comments and personal comments. My education and my culture prevent me from doing that. I can severely criticise a person for his/her opinions or views - but I never attack on a personality. Please try to understand what a personal attack means.

The biggest problem with people of WB is LEFT IDEOLOGY. it is totally dead and failed to deliver . Please first for god's sake scrap this IDEOLOGY. WB become laboratory of Marxism. plese if required do some experiment some where else and then apply to bengal.

I voted for the TMC too, even though I hate them. Had to - because I was voting for Congress in Parliament, not TMC in Assembly. Many did the same thing like me. Next year I'm going to vote for CPM in Assembly. This is what happened in AP also today.
No way, I'm going to support that crazy dhorna di to win in WB assembly.

Kaushik agai u r doing wrong thing. Why u people dont appreciate Mamata. She alone fighting left for decades. U Bigyas dont support her. That why she become desparate and try to do any thing and every thing to eradicate CPM. Please understand you have to vote her to boost her confidence and give right direction. U have given 32 yrs to CPM , now just give a chance once. She will deliver. She is honest and good intention. This is enogh for coming good results. And then Bigya ppl like you if join TMC then only BENGAL will prosper. Dont criticise. JOIN TMC and Do something...

That is why left could hold on for such a long period in Bengal. But don't ever consider that all people of WB thinks like you. And you will be proved wrong in next assembly election of Bengal.
