Ideology alone does not address hunger....
by Sundaram on May 16, 2009 02:23 PM  | Hide replies

People of Kerala have at last realized that ideology alone does not help address issues of hunger, ill health, good education, job opportunities etc. At last they have shown their real pragmatism to catch up with the national mainstream. This si something they should have done long time back.

Pinarayi and his supporters were just using the political power to do the buisiness. Prakash Karatt and the politibeuro members are supporting his because they are also getting the corrupted money. Do you ever think why this politibeuro members supports Pinarayi eventhough they knows Pinarayi is not doing good for keralites ? Because they are also getting money through him. Latest dream of Prakash Karatt was to support Congress by taking money from them. Now that also failed. SEE MR. SUDHAKARAN MINISTER AND PINARAYIS SEVAKAN WAS SAYING LAST WEEK. HE IS NO 1 ST--U--PID AND B@@STAR..D.

for your information, Prakash Karat was to be King Maker . Not interested and will never become Prime Minister. Now this 'bag holder of AK Gopalan' can go for Sanyas.

Being a strong believer of Marxism during my student life and has forced to change my belief recent past due to the ugly and unethical behaviour of the party members. The present results should be considered as a much deserving slap on the face/s of the party and leaders as well. They took the public for granted and opposed the developmental activities. People like us living outside only knows the feeling of grave unemplyment. So it is my best wishes to all the red bastion leaders to comeforward admit their mistakes/mischiefs and take the SLAP on your the public is giving through their votes.

There are lakhs of malayalis working in the Gulf region. Most of them work as labourers in the hot sun, with temperature soaring to blistering 50 degrees. They toil hard to send money back to their families who have nothing more to look upto. Looking at them one wonders, why do they have to work in these conditions. The answer to this is lack of employment opportunity provided by our state to its citizens. Next thing is who the members of this ruthless state are? The answer is none other than our Commy cadre. It would be great to see them come to this part of the world, which they are not too alien to, and make them work for at least one day, just so that they realise the hardships what others have to go through because of their policies. Policies which are outdated and against development or revenue generation for the common man. Since they have nothing to do, probably they should consider coming here and making a life for themselves exactly like how others do.

While rest of India is developing at a rapid rate. We want to go back to stone age, was the ultimate aim of our dear commies.

Fact is that people from our state don't think much. When they are fedup with the Congress they bring Commies in and when they are tired of the commies they bring congress back. Probably we can never think in terms of having a third strong and better alternative, concentrating on more jobs for people, looking at improving at industries that are good for the state (not causing much harm to our ecosystem) and improving quality of our roads etc. Talking of the roads, while the rest of India boasts of 6 lane roads, we barely have 2 lane roads with more potholes in them. Better public transport facilites, our KSRTC is probably one of the only organisations in the south which has buses which are outdated. There is a lot of areas in which we need a total rework.

A GOOD TIGHT SLAP!!!!
by Gabi Thomas on May 16, 2009 01:44 PM

The results should be considered as a much deserved slap that this ruling party needed. They took Keralites for granted. So all the red bastion leaders please stand up and take the SLAP the public is giving through their votes.
And let the slap be loud enough to reach the leaders who want to rule next....so that they don't commit the same blunders again.

These leftist opposes because they have to oppose. they generally disagree with a person and not with a point..........and hence this is a verdict.
Thumbs down to CPM & P.Karat

Now that the people of this country have shown whom they trust and have confidence in.......All those who have been a "pain in the neck or wherever" please let the next Govt. rule in peace.

If you have the guts, graciously support them for a better tomorrow. After all thats all what the people want.

Pinarai is not allowing the chief minister to rule the Kerala for the people.
Pinarai should take the responsibility and should step down at the earliest. If CPM do not want loose the assembly election badly.
